Coyle’s motivational skills is to walk from his seat into the technical area and wave his hands around pretending to be a windmill. Perhaps he should wear a suit, he might then look the part of a manager.
24 November 2013 at 4:01 am #123679I’m sorry but did I watch a different game than you lot?. Thought we looked the classier team from start to finish. We failed to take our chances and once again was the wrong side of a defeat.
Yes we dropped 3 nurps but did we deserve to lose? no. To have a go Coyle for 3 or 4 bad finishes, Holt’s being the worse, no leave the lad alone. :angry:From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!24 November 2013 at 11:43 am #123681And am I experiencing a different season to everyone?
We are 11th, on the edge of the playoffs with a game in hand, only just lost our first game at home, on the verge of qualifying for the Euro knockouts and still have a cup to defend!
And all despite a massive period of transition (division, budgets, manager, players), games every 3 days and one of the toughest, open leagues in the world.
I suspect the team is naturally thinking about Thursday – I certainly am. If we don’t turn up then, then I might change my tune. But right now I’m pretty content with the big picture.
Granted Coyle would not even be my 100th choice of manager, and we need better tactics and more firepower. There is room for massive improvement. But overall how can anyone be as fooked off as some you are on here?24 November 2013 at 2:42 pm #123686Because we pay to watch games and most games have been terrible to watch.
24 November 2013 at 2:51 pm #123687I’m sorry but did I watch a different game than you lot?. :angry:Yep you did . :)
Why?
Cos we were shite !!!
24 November 2013 at 2:56 pm #123689But how anyone be as fooked off as some you are on here?Because we never look like scoring and have changed from a passing team to a hoof ball team.
The players don’t seem to have a clue about the Managers tactics – if that’s what you can call them – either.
And as for our so called strikers ……………………..

Roberto would stand calmly on the touchline, quietly beckoning his players to adjust their positions by a yard here and a couple of feet there.
Coyle’s reaction to an opposition attack is to jump off the bench, wave his arms wildly in the air and shout at the players to get stuck in.
Sadly, it doesn’t seem to have the same effect on the players. They’re probably trying not to laugh. It is comical, especially when he’s wearing his match-day shorts.
24 November 2013 at 4:35 pm #123692Isn’t it funny how different people perceive things ! Brighton for me were far the better side today and bossed it for long periods, they deserved their win.The big centre half ( No.38 ) was in total control throughout his time on the pitch, a comment that would apply to their right back ( No.2 ). We gave the ball away far too cheaply and the control of Fortune was just laughable !
24 November 2013 at 4:54 pm #123694thought we did ok in the first half but run out of ideas in the second where brighton were the best team, should be playing two up front at home. thought everything was a bit flat yesterday, the players, the game, the crowd, the atmosphere. i know alot of you dont like coyle but the players have to take responsibility on the pitch, he cant make them put the ball in the net. if we had taken all our chances over the past few games we would be in the top four.

If you thought the big number 38 played at centre half, then Lee Nicholls played on the right wing!.
Brighton did enjoy lots of possession, but only in the middle third. They had jack shyte quality up front. The little winger on the left looked a threat and Barnes did his usual hustle, bustle and wrestling job.
It needed just one quality finish from us and in my view the score would have been 3 or 4 nil.

What a journey!24 November 2013 at 5:56 pm #123699He looked like he was playing as a centre half to me ! How can one quality finish become 3 or 4 ? Surely it’s 3 or 4 quality finishes that would have resulted in a 3 or 4 nil !
24 November 2013 at 6:59 pm #123704Is it down to the lake I fear !Aye, aye, aye, aye, aye, ayeeeee… Aye, aye, aye, aye, aye, aye, ayeeee…

Reminded me of the ex Fulham player Papa Bouba Diop.
