Yep , bags packed off to Hull, DW needs money to service the jet.
Let’s be honest though, your track record at predicting these things isn’t particularly good now, is it?
nob
Most forums have their troll types, who spend most if not all of their time criticising, even belittling other members, rather than contributing anything positive themselves.
Cockneylatic has it’s troll.
It has been very noticeable recently how quiet the forum has become, especially over such a busy footballing time. So little post match discussion now (not that there was much to say about Saturday’s debacle).
People have stopped contributing because they feel their contributions will be ridiculed.
It is a sad state of affairs, but that’s where we are.
You think I am going waste my time trying to have a serious conversation about football – or anything – with someone who feels the need to post the fact that he is angry that a national newspaper has omitted to print a football fixture?
I have many a sensible and serious conversation about Latics and football in general. However, I tend to hold them in a pub though, with people whose opinions and company I like and respect. For the most part, the population of this forum is only fit for belittling and ridiculing, to be perfectly frank. The minority that are worth bothering about know who they are and are probably having their own sensible football discussions away from this forum as well.
If you don’t want your comments on a public forum ripped to shreds, I’d suggest making them less rippable or stop posting altogether.
Oh, and it’s “cockneylatic has its troll”
And CupWinners – good effort with the ‘nob’ reply. I simply can’t compete with that razor-like wit.
freak21 January 2014 at 10:33 pm #126177It should be knob!
There’s a hardware shop suggestively called Knobs and Knockers.

Oh, I see what’s happening… a 3-letter reply, “nob”, followed by a 5-letter reply, “freak”. What next? A cutting 7-letter insult like gobshite, or something similar?
22 January 2014 at 1:46 am #126189Gobshite is something similar to a seven letter word, but not quite the same!
22 January 2014 at 1:48 am #126190If you believe what you read, Hull are chasing Jean Beausejour and James McClean. Surely they don’t want both.
If one of the two went, I would rather we keep James McClean over Beausejour.
The other way round for me. James McClean is kick and rush with no nothing at the end of it. What’s the benefit to the team when of someone who runs fifty yards, out-sprints everyone, and then hits ball into the stand?
Beausejour hasn’t got McClean’s pace but he can put a better cross in, links up much better than McClean and doesn’t need half a dozen touches to get the ball under control.
Good points, well put, but personally I think McClean has more potential and I think Uwe may just get more out of him than we have seen so far.

22 January 2014 at 2:57 am #126195Never mind. I’m literate and numerate too!

He’s got bags of pace, but each time he gets the ball I’m half expecting him to miscontrol it and shin it into touch! He has a good first season at Sunderland, so if Rosler can get him back to that, he could be a good player.
Maybe it’s a confidence thing with him, and I doubt Coyle was the type to put an arm round them and tell them they’re a great player and it was just an off-day.
