Sorry fil. I was referring to the transfer window & potential signings.

I hope your wrong fil, Royle told The Mail online that he wants to get back into the game. His son is our chairman so is it a way for him to become our manager even if only short term. I want Cookie to turn it around before the chance arises. I have a bad feeling that things will get a lot worse if PC is sacked. Hope I’m wrong.
26 December 2018 at 6:54 pm #174349Is there an issue with Grigg now ?……on bench again…Is he now out of favour like Macmanaman???
26 December 2018 at 6:56 pm #174350Probably and add Shaun McDonald to that list. Connolly ahead of him is ridiculous.
19 January 2019 at 9:05 pm #175302Another one bites the dust.Away form is now a serious concern cos we can’t beat anyone no matter how poor their form is.Was last week the one swallow summer ?.Find myself following Rotherham/Preston/Ipswich results with fervour cos I really fear for us now. Sheff Wed 20 shots ,8 on target,9 corners ..we 8 shots,1 on target and 1 corner yet we edged possession. 5 point from a possible 42 away with 1 point out of last 36….horrific figures.
19 January 2019 at 9:10 pm #175303I really thought we were going to win today after last week. Just hope that wasn’t a one off.
It’s a good job Ipswich and Reading are so poor. This away form is horrendous and we were virtually invincible away from home last season.19 January 2019 at 9:20 pm #175304Two bad teams there today.we where shite .
19 January 2019 at 9:21 pm #175305I really do think the owners are hovering over the ejector seat lever. Good job we have some poor sides below us including Bolton and their potential administration issues or I think they would have no option but to hoof him and get a someone in to rescue us from the drop. Understand Jacobs not starting but Grigg and Macmanaman got their usual 20 mins and less to perform heroics and dig us out ,failed again. Preston dig in and do the business,Rovers 11pts and possible play off spot and we look worse by the game. Were Villa shit last week to get us so excited ?.

Surprised we didn’t carry the momentum on today.
19 January 2019 at 10:30 pm #175307Forget Bolton.
Bolton dont give two shits about Latics, and its time Wiganers stopped giving two shits about them.
Both clubs have a multitude of problems, albeit of different kinds and scenarios.Still a thunderous silence from our chairman and owners. If they fail to do one of two things pretty sharpish, its becoming highly likely we are just a tax dodge.
One, back Cook with funds to bring in decent players that will make a difference.
Or two, sack Cook, and bring in someone to throw a new approach at things, but ultimately, theyre going to need funds too.Cant just stay silent and not do anything. A few people got too cocky after that Villa game. But we remain a shambles. I predict another 1 nil defeat at Forest, and the fans forum being ‘postponed’.
19 January 2019 at 10:35 pm #175308Valid point. I just don’t see any consistent improvement. Yes we throw in ace ones ,Rovers, Villa,West Brom but after each one we fall off the cliff again. Surely we are not pinning all our hopes on Powell’s return ??…As with any results business the buck stops with the man in charge and I really do think he is precariously close to the exit door. The owners talked of consolidation with a Prem push in the not to distant future, they certainly wouldn’t have factored in another league 1 campaign. Simply for that reason after next weeks mauling at Forest we could be rudderless.
20 January 2019 at 12:23 am #175310Another loss being brushed off as ‘one of those things’.
For me Cook has probably reached the end of the line. We’re fast heading into February with no sign of improved away form. I’m sure a narrow away loss at Forest will also be dismissed. If it’s a thumping loss, let’s not forget it will be O’Neill’s first home game, the calls will be overwhelming.
It all feels like we’ve left it too late. If Cook was going it should have been shortly after Christmas. The Villa game gave Cook some respite. But without building on that it’s of little consequence.
20 January 2019 at 1:09 am #175311Yet, we remain out of the relegation zone. Which was the aim this season.
