Wigan Rugby League Ultras? Oh how I laughed. They’ve picked up on a phrase from mainland Europe for football hooligans, and used it for a sport unheard of in most of mainland Europe, and which claims to have no hooligans. I know who some of the people are who have posted on that thread, and they most certainly would not bring fear to your average Serbian or Turkish football ultra’s face.
But now, they have chosen the name of a Celtic tribe instead – as clearly over recent years they have demonstrated how popular Rugby League is within the Celtic race.
