even Rooney scored :D
Did he? Something your not telling us?
What they need to do is to sell the ticket packages, sayBolton, West Brom and Liverpool tickets bundled together. Most other clubs do that.
I think they might be, but not for those 3 exact games.
What they really need to do is actually promote these deals and promote games. They launch these offers but don’t tell anyone. Apart from posters inside the stadium where people who see them already have tickets.
They deserve to win because they won the league and that should mean they are champions, such are the rugby’s joke rules.
However part of me wants them to get hammered due to the amount of bangwagon Wiganer’s claiming to be full of pride & passion over seeing their local team in the final… before running back off to Man United, Liverpool or whoever else outside of Wigan next week.
Il be happy when this week is over. The egg chasers are so deluded its almost unreal. I got abused by a few egg chasing mates the other day for saying i dont care about the final and couldnt care less if St Helens won. Apparently i was a disgrace because im from Wigan and should want my home town team to win against the main rivals.
I should add that each of them support either United or Liverpoool.
See what im getting at?
You don’t have to like or dislike them to get frustrated by the stubborness/bitterness/lies.
Martinez’s attacking and eye catching football

For some strange reason rugby fans always go to the finals regardless who is there. Ive known numerous Wigan fans to go to league & cup finals in the past few years and obvsiously the rents havent been involved.
So any tickets sold through the RFL for this final are not necessarily Wigan fans buying them. If they take less than 20k that’s just embarressing, especially considering the amount of people i know jumping on the bandwagon for this game.
£20 for any Premier League game is decent value. It’s the kids prices that are too expensive. £15 isn’t going to appeal to any youngsters in Wigan. The club did well with their ST offers, but they just seemed to stop there. They need to do some more deals on inidividual games such as adult & kid ticket for £25 or 3 tickets for £30 for example.
2 goals in 5 games.
No goals in the first 3/4 of any game.
Were not creating chances.
Were not testing opposition goalkeepers.
With all the above being true, i couldn’t care less if we outplayed the Spanish national team.
Sunderland – 16 shots 4 on target
Tottenham – 11 shots 4 on target
Hartlepool – 18 shots 8 on target
Chelsea – 10 shots 6 on target
Blackpool – 9 shots 5 on targetYup see where you are coming from there!!![/quote]
Thats an average of about 5 shots on target a game, and 4 of those were home games. Thats great isnt it? Well worth my money. More importantly, hardly any of those chances were with any conviction, for example i can think of numerous of them being weak headers, and weak/desperate shots from outside the area which rolled into the goalkeepers arms – so they are not even goalscoring chances.
When we get into the final third we simply do not look as if we know what to do. Its been the same for over a year, and as TyldesleyLatic is saying, if it hasnt worked up to now why will it suddenly change?

I said when he was being stretchered off on Saturday that he was only doing it as an escape route. Now im convinced.
Our goalkeeper would have several England caps if he didnt have the back problems
Our right back is a current dutch title winner
Our left back is linked with Liverpool & Sunderland for over 5million
Our centre backs include one of defenders of the world cup and 2 other internationals
Our midfield includes 2 of the most highly rated youngesters at the moment, a French international being linked with a move for 10m and a midfielder turned down by Barca & Real Madrid only because of his medical condition.
Whilst in attack we have Argentina’s top scorer who just missed out on a world cup place with a player rumoured to have been watched by Aston Villa and Arsenal.Yet weve lost 18-0 in our last 3 games.
He had so much relying on his own promise of getting the squad better, slowly but surely. It seems not only is this not happening but were in the worse state we have been in for 6 years. We look so bad at the moment i cant see us getting above 10 points before Christmas. Why did he mention Europe so much?

Completely out of his depth. Its not about him being completely out of his depth. If he’d tried every possible solution (different formations) and nothing worked then fair enough but he’s only gone on way and thats the hopeless 4-2-3-1
