Yes
Why not have the South, West and half of the East for ST holders, meaning that the North and/or half the East could be used for visiting fans or promotions, depending on who you play. For the likes of Fulham, give them 1000 seats in the corner of the East, sell the remainder to the half-way line, and offer the North to the likes of Heinz to give to their employees – result being less empty seats. For the likes of Man Utd, give them the North and 3000 in the East – result being less empty seats. Its a win-win situation.
And can you tell me where I am going to sit, if you do this? I sit in ES2 on row G. I don’t want to sit in the West or the South or at the other side of the East, as I pay £250. I like my seat thank you!
If you want to give them half a stand give them the West, its cold as it never gets any sun and its also not on the TV cameras!
I take it from your suggestion you don’t sit in the East ES1 to ES4?
Isn’t that what some of our fans did to Scharner? he went off and didn’t come back on, but he went straight home! :?
Did he not even have a shower ? The dirty b a s t a r d !! Mind you he didnt even break into a sweat against Portsmouth !![/quote]
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not sticking up for Scharner, I think he has a big ego. For the last few years he has said he is leaving, problem seems to be nobody wants him!
I just don’t agree with booing either players or team, I think there would be a bigger impact if everyone remained silent when they go off after a bad performance.Isn’t that what some of our fans did to Scharner? he went off and didn’t come back on, but he went straight home! :?
Why? because they are at their happiest when moaning!
Hey there was at least 2 of us in Es3 singing our heads of and waving Tesco bags when we started to sing ‘one nil to the Tesco boys’ didn’t see anyone else though waving theirs!
I really don’t see the problem with away fans?
I always walk home after the match down stadium way along side away supporting fans going back to the carpark. I haven’t had any problems whatsoever.
I think the club need to promote a ‘family’ ticket or something cheap for kids, like kid for a quid.
The club should also do freebie promotions eg last night was our first hoem game with Martinez at the helm. A lot has been played on his ‘homecoming’ why didn’t Mr whelan but a bulk of spanish hats to give to the crowd? This would have got everyone in the spirit and maybe they might not have had such a bad game!
Just a suggestion
