noticed that they didn’t even show the assault on Rodallega towards the end of first half which should have seen Bassong being sent off. Obviously not a major incident in the game
The real issue is that Cleverley’s vision is by far and above faster than many of the players around him. He’s playing the right ball, but the players around him are not reading his passes.
Reminded me a bit of when Jimmy Bullard first came to Latics. Great vision, killer passes, but no other player had the equivalent knowledge.Not a bad effort from Cleverley to bring out that brilliant save from Gomes
