Attendances don’t concern me, I’m on about actual support from the fans at the stadium. Wimbledon fans made some noise and I remember playing Tranmere, Crewe, Nob End, Blackpool etc, we made a racket. But recently, the excitment, atmosphere, expectation etc has gone and we are quite frankly sad as muck. I’ve never been to a Premiership ground where the fans are as bad as us, just one question and this will answer wether we are indeed the worst set of fans to grace Englands top flight:
When was the last time you heard chanting of ‘Wigan, Wigan…’ or the chanting of ‘We Love You Wigan?’ If it was in the last 12 months, were not the worst. Awaiting responses.

It seams to me you are a little bit uneducated with regard to Latics fans, but I am here to help. We love our club, so when things are looking bleak it affects the fans. Were not like other clubs by way of turning up just for a good day out, we turn up because were desperate to see the club were all so proud of put up a good fight. When that doesnt happen, the fans become dejected and I for one am proud that after a match which we were poor I go home and feel like sh*t for the weekend.
We have seen so much success over the last few years, we are desperate for that to continue. Interesting you mentioning about the worst premiership fans though, so I have been doing a little investigating and have left some attachments for you to look at. Rather than the worst fans, to me these guys look 100% the best. Tell me if you think theyre any good or you think the support is poor –

I will meet up with you you pri**, im 36 and have watched Wigan since 1970. More importantly than that as far as your concerned, im 6”5, built like a brick sh*t house and take offence when our support is questioned.
Hows tonight grab ya?

I suppose any new signing is good, but after the amount of new signings weve made i think we could do with trying to keep to the same 11. We want to increase team spirit and the players need confidence. The team that beat Villa should be given time, we have already seen what its capable of.
Villa we were great and we gave UTD 45 mins and were unlucky not to score. We were unlucky at Everton and against Wolves, it was the same as when we were promoted. How many teams did we shock?
We thought we should have beaten Wolves easily, just shows how far we have come.

I have the highlights of the season dvd from the year we gained promotion. At the end when the announcer keeps shouting were in the premiership is a magical moment. Seeing pj and the sky commentator blasted with champagne was excellent.
The tv sets around the ground are great and obviously if there’s a match on Sky show this, but i wonder if showing things like this would increase the atmosphere. The Reading match and then the pitch invasion shown to rocking all over the world would help people remember where we have come from.
