A few of those players played against Notts County in the FA Cup last season. Amaya & Gohouri played the 1st leg against Notts County this season. McManaman played a few mins against Pompey (H) last season. Overall 2 inexperienced sides.Does anyone on here watch them regularly?Every time I’ve read a report, Bouaouzan has had a good game, and he had some decent performances in the pre-season matches.
If you watch the reserves, does he look a good player to you?
I’m surprised he’s never featured in the first team during the three years he’s been with the club.
I think he’s happy earning 30 grand a week playing for the reserves don’t you ? (the answer would be – yes he just wants the money).
He’s an average player who will never be better than the legendary Jordi Gomez.
I bet theres more stewards in the Wigan end than fans. I’ll go for 142 away fans. Some of which will be players families. Should be thrilling.

Wigan play almost exactly the same formation, tactics and subs every match. There’s no squad to pick from – theres a squad of about 14 good players, then there’s the rest. It’s not all of Martinezs’ fault as next season, if were still in the top flight, he will have learnt from his errors. Touch wood
Does anyone know who shouts ‘Come On Wigan’ in a high pitched screech at every game? It sounds like it comes from near the back of WS7.He’s annoying and didn’t shut up for most of the Notts County match. I always take the mic out of him ! :lol:
I took the Vuvuzela on tuesday but got stage fright and couldnt blow it, when it did get blown it was by a lad across the aisle from me.
Also my 8 year old was scared that i would get done of the stewards for blowing it so wouldnt let me blow it most of the time.
Then when the Stewards moved in and kicked them out of ES2 he kept a tight grip on it in the second half.

surely Martinez can see with the players we have available, we cannot persist with this 1 up front, otherwise were deffo going down, Rodellega is our main goalscorer, he needs a target man to play off, i no its old hat, but we have to go 442, with Nzogbia and Moses wide, Diame and McCarthy, in the middle, Thomas has to be dropped, too many sideways and back passes, so does Bramble with Scharner moving to centre back, and Moreno playing upfront with Rodellega, if we do go down, lets go down fighting, also bring Boyce in at full back, and make Caldwell skipper like i said in a previous post, its time Martinez bit the bullet, admit hes struggling and bring in an experienced no2, before its too late, otherwise its the fizzy pop league for us.Martinez thinks that if Wigan play 4-4-2 teams will figure us out quickly. Does anyone remember the last game of last season when Portsmouth brought huge flags saying “it’s cold down in Southampton -10”. These were obviously stating Southampton were docked 10 points this season.
