No, they wont be thinking of any favours for anyone else, thats why I’m sure they’ll be thinking one more win will do it for themselves.
I agree mate. It’s totally surreal to think our club is actually going to play in an FA cup final. I am chuffed as a butty, but at the same time, only half thinking about it at the mo. My full attention will be given to it after tomorrow when we pick up 3 more points and are out the relegation zone.
I think going to the final with the pressure off (for the mo) will deffo give the played as well as the fans a huge boost
I don’t know why we only start playing when we go behind, I think only the players could answer that one.
It could possibly down to blind panic? or maybe they start thinking ‘Crikey we best do summat here now’?
I know one thing, coming from behind and getting a result like that can only do good for confidence. Roll on Tuesday. :cheer:
Come on Wigan!!!!!!!! goodpost
I’ll start to believe we can still do it, if we get a result at Albion and 1 possibly 2 of the 3 directly above us get nowt.
If we do, I think we’ll kick on and beat Swansea, if we don’t then………I don’t really want to think about the consequences.
You hear the term “must win” on here as early as January but the game on Saturday is an absolute must!
We win that and I have a sneaky feeling one of the clubs around the 37 mark won’t get any points meaning two wins will be enough.
My super positive 23 year old son (a tic since he was four btw) has converted me from the deadly pessimism I felt on Monday back to believing we can still do it.
We won’t give our status up without a fight I’m sure!
I was feeling exactly the same after Saturdays game, I felt we’d blown all hope. Albion game is a MUST WIN. Now I just hope & pray fat sams west ham smash the geordies. and Sunlun are still suffering shell shock, so you never know.

So many memorable games to choose from.
But my absolute favourite has to be thrashing stoke 6-1 :woohoo:
Speaks sense, and with no mention of the size of our following at all.! :woohoo:
Well done Shaun for giving an honest genuine appraisal of our club, and well done for keeping calm. Those two prick presenters were just taking the piss and belittling Wigan and its fan base.
I’m sure there should be a T and not a D somewhere in Cundy’s name :P
Funny intit how you can start a thread talking about tickets sold, and ending up talking about milk? :woohoo: Wo’d er thowt.
I couldn’t give a flying what the media anybody else is saying. The simple facts are that
a) The semi should not be at Wembley
b) Ridiculous K.O time, considering the transport problems
c) Cost, considering theres’s every chance of returning, average folk just can’t afford two trips. I will only be able to afford one trip, which i hope is he final fingers crossed.
d) Wembley is on Millbrawl’s doorstep. No wonder they’ve sold their tickets. Its easy for hangers on to travel. It would be like a day trip to Bury market for us.
e) The F.A give sweet F.A about all of the above :angry:Its the same for every other club too. Just us who seem to have a problem getting fans down there.
a)they are at Wembley and everyone knew before third round.
b)ko time should not matter,if you really want to go.transport to London anytime is awful.
c)all 4 teams involved could return again,as has been said before, stoke sold out.they had to return again.
d)it’s easy for anyone to travel anywhere if they want to.newcastle fans to Russia on a Thursday night.
e)very truegod help us if we do get in Europe.like to see the bleating on here and from those not going to semi final, for reasons they have stated, if we have to travel to Kazakhstan on a Thursday night.no trains back from there either.
You’re taking the piss right? If i was single, no kids and not mortgaged up to my fuckin eyeballs, then i’d have gone home and away to every round.
FFS some people. :blink:You could try that fabric place ont corner of Queen St, next to Wallgate bridge. I think its still there?

Who is our best left back?
Where you at Goole?
Who is your favourite player from the 70’s?
What do you think about the rugby?
Has Griff tried to sell you a book yet?
East, West or South?
Lightside or darkside?
Do you know where the £40 million war chest is?

More to do with the fact that all the ones that used to just come on here and browse now have to log in.
Maybe the fact that they are now members of the site and have to be logged in to see anything has now prompted them to post as well… the more the merrier..
This applies to me. I’ve been a lurker on this board for a number of years but never felt the desire to join and post. But with the recent change forcing people to log in to view posts I had to join and thought I may as well join in the discussion.
Ditto for me aswell.
