How the fuck has Paul McCartney ever sold a record, he is fucking garbage.
If ever anyone was carried in life by others then look no further than this mon.Now I’m all for freedom of speech and respecting people’s opinions but every now and then someone says something so ludicrously stupid……..How has Paul McCartney ever sold a record? Are you for real? He was in a band called The Beetles, you know.
BOBFOC (Body Off Baywatch Face Off Crimewatch)
I have stated several times that I wont be bothered if he goes but I don’t think Liverpool will choose him ! He has laid the foundations for someone to come in and take it to the next level ( Think Swansea ). If he stays I hope he can do just that ! If he does talk to Villa again then you have to ask yourself why ?Fantastic.
Wasn’t very nimble on his feet there.
shame that..some of the workforce have been with them through thick and thin. :blush:Yeah, you’d have thought they could’ve found a happy medium. Oh well, looks like they’ll have to earn their crust elsewhere :(
Possible headline …Rathbones Brown Bread !!
Rathbones runs out of dough.
I suppose they could slice the work force, maybe they don’t knead that many?
How is it that every season, Arsenal sell tickets in the Wigan area, to their own fans????
and secondly do you know the ethnic mix of Wigan?
Currently more ‘diverse’ than North London, I’d say
Most of it’s being washed away on tonight’s flush. Just a few skiddies to get rid of after this one.
I think its totally the wrong decision putting that miserable git in charge. The one thing you need in that job is a bit of personality / character and he has zilch.
I also can’t understand how people think he is a successful international manager. OK he got Switzerland a bit of success by getting to the last 16 of the 1994 world cup, but look at his international record games played v games won, its not that good at bang on 50% win ratio.. :woohoo:Switzerland record (major games only): P: 22 W:12 D:6 L:4
UAE record (major games only): P:12 W:6 D:2 L:4
Finland record (major games only): P:14 W:6 D:6 L:2I had to laugh at Steven Gerrard’s interview on SSN today when commenting on Roys appointment. He looked like he was sucking on a pair of dead tramp’s y fronts. If he had the guts to say he is shyte, he would have I’m sure.
The biggest job he’s tackled in his career is Liverpool and we all know how that went. The FA want hanging for this decision the pompous set of fools. :angry:That is one of the worst posts I have seen on this forum and from one of the board’s most rose-tinted specs, optimistic, stalwart posters. Just proves how blinkered and tunnel-visioned he is.
To put Hodgson’s record into numbers without context is totally hypocritical in line with fat fan’s view of Roberto Martinez. Roy Hodgson’s international sides have possibly played far higher standard opponents than their own ranked level. His record is far better at international level, pro-rata, than Martinez’s record with us against like for like opposition.
Cracking appointment, much rather have Hodgson than Redknapp.
4-1 Spurs, btw :)
He did however say it was an honour to have been ranked so highlySubtle
Don’t bother trying the neutral bit mate. They’re gone too. Found out this morning. The price of indecision and umming and ayeing :(
It looks like the current shirt to me. With a collar
I agree with most of what’s been said about Moses on here but I think he’d be missed more than some people think.
It has taken him a while to get established as a first team regular but he is improving all the time. I agree with Garswood that his decision making can be atrocious but I wouldn’t say he’s any sort of weak link.
Our position is still very precarious and form is temporary, class is permanent (or lack of class sometimes in our case). We’ve had a great run recently and we’re all basking in the sunshine of plaudits from the media and other fans but we should all be wise enough to know that we could just get tonked by Fulham on Saturday and be back somewhere near to square one. Fingers crossed we don’t though and we carry on in recent style to the end of the season.
Monday’s game was high profile and significant and the Moses hype was amplified. Sure, he’s not the finished article and not quite as good as some people make out but for anyone to suggest that we can be genuine contenders without flair players like Moses are mistaken. When he does go, it will be quite a loss to us imho.
Why does Mr Whelan feel the need to publicly announce he is having a pow wow with Robbie today when in his own words “He has done a great job for the club “?Hope one the “cards he puts on the table ” is Robbies P45 .
Because he’s just come back from a motnh in Barbados and can’t resist the temptation to blurt something out the minute his mate Stuart Hall thrusts a mic in front of his gob.
I might be wrong, but I suspect this “pow-wow” will turn out to be the dampest of squibs.
I’m just glad he refused Hall’s offer of a sing-song this time
Talk about defend the indefensible on this thread.
So having a man sent off did Swansea a favour? With that in mind, I don’t know why Brendan Rogers didn’t concoct the whole situation by simply taking Dyer off and not replacing him with a substitute, having to alter his team formation and game plan to protect a 2-0 lead. That would have guaranteed a win for them and no chance of us coming back because at 11 v 11, we’re still in the game but at 10 v 11, we’ve no chance.
At straws clutching.

Yep – I watched Final Score on BBC when they mentioned this too
I actually heard it on 606 and thought it was ironic and very apt. Probably a while since the SPL table was as such and what a week to fall that way.
Fell on stony ground with that Portsmouth Rochdale Inverness Caledonian Kilmarnock loudmouthblue (though his initial riposte was very clever yet totally wasted).
