Called in today. Was a bit understocked to be honest but i’m sure they’ll fill it up more over the coming weeks. In an excellent location too. I expected it to be tucked away somewhere but it’s at the top of the slope across from Bruciannas (or however you spell it)

Thank you “The Egg”. Good to see that some of your lot arent total ignorant khunts.

I didnt reply because this was a football post. If you feel the need to discuss Rugby League, Hockey, Gymnastics, Dwarf Tossing or even Extreme Ironing, then there is another sub-forum for it.[/quote]

You dont go into the sub-forum, you cant get the bites in there.

Now back to Sharners hair. What number Clairol dye do you reckon he used on either side ?

We can take this to the fashion sub-forum if you want………..

Not obsessed at all. It was a genuine honest question thats all.

If you dont want to, or wont, for whatever reason, then that is your preogative. Cant see why you wouldnt tho.

Not got a clue what he’s done with his hair, i’m not gay.

Just had it pointed out to me, however, that Wigan Warriors are going from 23rd April – 4th June without playing a home game, then there is an almost month long gap again in June/July. What gives Mutty me owd mucker ?

in reply to: Wigan. Has it had a sport revolution? #12946

The half decent kids from Wigan are currently being scooped up by Acadamies of Manchester United, Liverpool etc – again, as i am sure you are well aware – or maybe i’m giving you too much credit and you purposefully (or not) come across as a bit slow in an effort to try to make a petty point.

The same would be the case if we built an Academy. “So son, do you want to join the Academy at Wigan or travel another 20mins and get coached by world class coaches at Manchester United or Liverpool”. I know which i’d have picked as a kid (and would still pick now) and I actually bother to support my home town team.

The same happens to Bolton. Nice shiny Academy. Yet produces nothing because all the kids from Bolton are herded into the Academies at the bigger clubs in the area, where, inevitably, they fail to make the grade.

We have a youth system but no academy (as i’m sure you actually know anyway, but i’ll houmour you…….), the three previous managers didnt see the importance, and didnt actually want one, in having a fully setup academy. And to be honest i agree with them.

    20,000 ? Its that all they’re bringing ?

    Small timers!

in reply to: Home Grown Quotas #11066

Wont really affect us, or any other Premier League club for that matter. Cant remember the figures but when the plans were announced there was a list produced to show who would have what had the plan come into force this season. Two were a couple of players away to the limit – Chelsea and (i think) Fulham but the rest, inculding us, had miles of leeway.

Stupid rule – expecially when you consider that the likes of N’Zog, Cywka and Kupiz will all be classed as “home grown” for us and for Arsneal the likes of van Persie, Vela, Clichy , Eboue and many others will all be counted as “home grown”.

All this rule will encourage is the pillaging of players at an even younger age from foreign leagues.

This new mon is apparantly a “master tactician” over Nobles “let em go out and get coked up” old school style. Probably a good idea cos looking at them a lot of them look way out of shape. Watched some of the Saints game on Saturday and one mon came on for ’em and got subbed about 20mins later cos he was that knackered.

And a serious question for any of our lurking rugby fans – but how exactly do you vary tactics in rubgy league, if this new mon is said to be a master of it ?

Fecking hell, no wonder neither Sky or BBC could afford the coverage. Setanta bought the rights to the game for £5m according to The Times. No wonder they went bust.

Also on a related note, Sky werent interested in the Under 21’s game to be played at Coventy on Friday night so the rights have been bought by…………Chelsea TV

in reply to: England on the internet #10259

Nothing to do with our FA. The Ukraine FA sell the right to international games played in Ukraine. They sold them to Setanta to start with but when they went bust neither Sky or BBC could afford what they wanted to show the game. The Ukraine FA have now given the rights away to this company, and will then take a large %age of the money paid by subscribers.

    It’s only England anyway……who cares ?
