EVERYBODY who bothers to post on here is welcome and whatever their views should be heard,we can then choose to ignore or comment on what they have said, either in agreement or not, it is not some orwellian enclave where “some are more equal than others” it is a broad church of differing views united under the banner of wigan athletic fans.
Absolutely, it’s just a pity that some can’t accept the views of others without launching a volley of abuse at the poster and accsuing them of being terminally thick, in a homesexual relationship with the manager, or worse.
Now, that might sound like an extraordinary case of kettle and pot coming from me, but I tend to engage in childish (sometimes) put downs to posters based on the way they present their argument, not its content. It would be great if we could have reasoned debates all along the way but it’s unlikely to happen, sadly.
What I would say is that, generally speaking – and I appreciate it is a generalistion and just my opinion – the anti-Martinez faction are the most agressive and abusive of the lot. This may because they are least happy and therefore less restrained in what they post and how they post it.
Or, they may just be really, really thick
Keep bumming Roberto brainless ! :D
Most people on here have some concerns about Martinez, that being the case what options are there ?
a) Get behind him until the end of the season.
or
b) Sack him and hope that someone can change things around in the short time we have left.I would personally go for a in the hope that he will find the right formula with the players he’s got, I respect the fact that he had a brand of football that he wanted to play but it wasn’t going to happen overnight, he will realise that points is all that matters now, hopefully.
It’ rough stuff, bubble! That doesn’t relly make sense looking at your previous posts. :?
Double bubble !
Ooooohhh can you handle it?
If I knew what it was I’d tell you, bubble.
Double bubble !
I didn’t think he played so how could he save us ???
Forgive me James, I’m 37 and don’t understand the bubble comment, please explain ?We drew then lost to Notts County a few weeks ago, what division are they in ?
We seem very short of ideas up front, I hope from Martinez’s actions in the second half he is seeing the light.
Watson was in a winning West Brom team yesterday, wouldn’t surprise me if he and McCarthy form a partnership in the future.
Times have changed and what’s in your pocket has changed, we might all want to be loyal but our first loyalty is to our families.
Bones in fish, I thought that was just me, if I find 1 the lot gets binned and I never go to that chippy again !
ther was a game last year and there was a guy yellow water up with a purple/pinky jumper on dancing like a custard and he was with his wife remember singing “does ur wife take it up the Kaiber” can any1 remember which away team that was?
West Brom pal, remember it well as we got battered all game and ended up winning 2-1 in last minute (Boycey).
As for the little c**t that got abused on sunday I was one of the crowd shouting abuse, i’m not ashamed and you point out it was a minority? The majority of fans in ES2/3 were singing jewish songs all game and hurling abuse at this 1 spurs fan + the rest of the fans around him.
I wouldnt have thought that any chavs knew any Jewish songs or even what they went through in the war let alone sing about them ! And I was in the East stand as usual and despite being fairly leathered I didnt hear any such songs anyway !
Me neither, I was sat in the area they were supposed to be coming from, flaming do-gooders, fook off to Pakistan or somewhere, that’s where I intend to live before you call me racist, it’s nearly empty.
The other 9,000 will be in local pubs broadcasting the game, that wasn’t an option in those days and is a massive reason for poor crowds across the country.
Come on don’t be sheepish if you’re on here.
Ye, come on back to the valleys Roberto !
