He brought Fortune on, if he was protecting him he wouldn’t have, I would have thought that was the obvious part ! I might just work in the afternoon from now on, no way will I get a work related injury then, thanks for the advice .
So if he comes on as a sub, he won’t pick up a knock for Sunday, how does that work, what was your point ??

If you’re going to throw him on anyway, why not start with him, get a goal then take him off, seemed odd to me .I agree that it’s a great point, mainly because we were lucky not to lose by the skin of our teeth, giving the ball away like school kids & last ditch lucky defending was what I saw, 1 meaningful attempt at goal in the second half, I don’t want to slag the performance off but each game leaves me with more concerns although it’s difficult to say how good or bad Zulte are .
Must be either Alan Mclouglan (probably spelt wrong) or Juan Peron, both were normally fairly useless although Peron did show glimpses of brilliance .
Seems Coyle likes utility players, Perch & Shotton at least seem able to play virtually anywhere which could be handy with the teams gruelling schedule .
Able replacements in most departments, certainly at this level, not saying it’s going to be easy but the general feeling seems to be that the squad’s as good as last year if not better, I’m optimistic anyway .
As fans we are the people that fund these transfers, either through the turnstile or sky subscriptions, I have put a ceiling on what price I am prepared to pay for matches now .
Good luck to him, only time will tell whether he can progress into a top class player, he’s decent enough but I think £13 million is very good business at the stage he’s at .
