I couldn’t sort things out in time to get to yesterdays game (work commitments) but managed to get to the Fox and Goose just after k o, was chokka, cak computer stop start picture so went to Last Orders for the second half, better picture but guess what, also chokka wi “Wigan fans” ????? Why dont people attend the games, lets be right about it we’re not well off most of us Wiganers and if me and my missus had gone yesterday it would have been £88 to get us there and into the game, I don’t think we spent that and we were out from 3 till about 22.30, football is not a cheap hobby, it’s time players wages and ticket prices were seriously reduced, at the end of the day it’s an hour and a halfs entertainment !
I don’t know what the other fella earns but trust me Kupisz earns nothing like 8k a week, after signing his deal Kupisz sat crying for a while in disappointment, he wants to keep plugging away and get his chance with Wigan though.
I think most of us agree with the above but if Whelan sticks to his word then he will give Bob at least the rest of this season and next. All we can do is hope last night made Martinez open his eyes to how useless Scotland is and how the 4-5-1 system doesn’t have to be used in every game.
Time to forget last night and hope the new lads fit straight in, ideal game on Saturday to get back on track and show Bruce he made the wrong choice.He’s been on Sky, that’s the cup blah, blah. We look to the league game on Saturday.
Oh and the players (using the term loosely) are having another whipround to give us all our money back.
Always makes me chuckle when I ask for an aisle seat to the left of the West stand and they tell me they’ve only got one available on such a row, when I get in the stand I can pick virtually any row I want, they all have aisle seats available, why do they do that ?
I reckon there’ll only be about 7000 on, I will be there. Yik will pay for you if you like Tyldesley. :D
I could be wrong but I thought I read somewhere that he’s got 6 goals in his last 9 appearances for Palace, straight into our first team I would think after Saturday.
After my wife and I paying £56 for the Everton game, if they’d let my daughter in for a quid, with a pie, couple of drinks etc they’d of at least filled an empty seat and made a few quid, more importantly the club would have taken another step to create another addict who would come and watch us, whatever the price may be, I started watching us for free and the club have certainly made a few quid from me over the years. I don’t want to be negative today as I feel as though this has been a positive window for us, I know the club have to make money but sometimes they have to look a bit further than the next few quid.
