2 or 3 games from winning the title?. how many games do they play?. if they got beat last night might they have had a wild card to play the team that had the least players sin binned? so they won on Friday night?. if they get beat in there next game is that the end? or perhaps the captains from the 2 best losing teams have a egg and spoon race. the teams who get through to the semis do they? NO I GIVE UP! I have no idea who gets through to the FINAL! it’ a JOKE :lol:
I got brought up as a Roman catholic and I refused to get confirmed when I was 15. I could see right through that sham even then. I have never bothered with any of that nonsense since. we all know why alter boys have centre partings :P

You’d have to search long and hard to find anyone who actually thought the game last night would attract a 15,000+ crowd.In the context of it, 8500 Wigan supporters shelling out for an additional game at short notice that, in all honesty, most hadnt budgeted for, is not a bad effort. True, its not great, but it shows that 8500 people cared enough about their club to get off their arses and cheer them on to a win.
Compare it to the 3000 Wiganers who shelled out for a cup replay against Notts County at short notice and suddenly 8500 doesnt look too bad.
But of course attendances dont matter to Latics fans do they….

Ray brooks, what as happened to him? it seems even the voice over work as dried up. MR Ben he will be forever remembered for.I have watched a episode and it was amusing.Thing is I like to watch something from the start. I was like that with soprano’s. I bought the box set in Hanoi but with pretty much everything in Vietnam it was a pirate copy and there was a missing episode which I had to track down on the net. I will find were it is on the net and start watching it. how many series have there been?. I have got that much stuff i have been meaning to watch there just aren’t enough hours in the day :)

I can’t see any reason why we shouldn’t at least be able to buy a ticket on the night. I’ll find out tomorrow.after the Sunderland game we walked past and saw you standing in that queue at the ticket place in the corner of the south and east and I assumed you was getting your ticket from there?. Its a funny old world. Rather like a sport where a team can finish 6th, more than 30 points behind the side that finishes first, but still manage to be promoted at the end of the season. They get two games to make the playoff final, so it doesnt matter if they lose the first one.Then to cap it all, they beat that side 2-0 in the next game between the two sides, just 4 months after finishing so far behind them, even binoculars couldnt spot them.
Oh yeah, and they can win against some other minor side 4-0.
there is no convoluted play off nonsense in the prem. the team that comes top are crowned the champions, unlike in the rugby top league were it is a joke! so what are you wittering on about the play offs in the leagues below for?
