The target is to stay up this season and let the manager sort the wheat from the chaff and bring in his own players in the summer.
I dont care what football we play, long ball, win ugly etc just stay up and start again.
The main issue is that Danson must fund the manager for decent experienced players not like the ones brought in by Maloney, starting with a couple of strikers and a couple of solid midfielders.

The difference is Lowe won’t stick around to be pissed about like Maloney did, any broken promises with financial backing, people overruling who he wants to sign and he’ll be off, Lowe won’t be short of offers if he leaves, whereas Maloney took all the shit because deep down he knows he won’t get a managerial job elsewhere.

Spot on that VAT, yet the Maloney arse kissers are blaming Lowe, people on other sites are actually saying we’d have picked up more points the past 3 games under Maloney, they just couldn’t wait to stick the boot in after just 2 proper games in charge, you couldn’t fuckin’ write it mate.

What would be the point in sacking Maloney in March to put a caretaker in charge until the end of the season? We may as well have kept Maloney.
The reason for the sacking is the early bird ST’s are out in a few weeks the club well know that crowds are dwindling and fans may not have renewed under Maloney and certainly not while Whelan is in charge.
A new manager may give fans a change of heart and they’ll renew, I expect a new manager at the helm next week.
Not many will renew until the club have made assurances.

Just seen that, however Wiki can be edited by anyone so someone could be taking the piss, there was a photo doing the rounds yesterday with him at Wigan train station dressed in a tracksuit and trainers, you wouldn’t expect anyone to turn up for a interview dressed like that unless he’s had the formal interview and was here to do a mock training session as part of the process.
Something a bit odd, I wouldn’t rule him out just yet, it would prove a good statement from the owner if true, that’s why I’m not holding my breath on this one.

I disagree with the club saying they are in no rush to appoint a new manager,
Until a new manager is appointed this is what we are going to get from the players and coaches they seem to be sulking at the sacking of Maloney a bit of a clique going on here, a protest.
Whelan set up for a 0-0 draw, the players looked like they were working to rule, show some respect you lazy bastards fans paid good money and took time off work to support you, they deserve better.
Easy street for too long these players, I hope we appoint a right hard case to sort these lot out, fuming with that showing the other night!
Maloney should have gone before Christmas, the owners have royally fucked up here, we could still get relegated no way are we safe yet and Whelan isn’t experienced enough to get the necessary points for safety.
Maloneys sacking and not having anyone lined up just shows the incompetence from the ownership.

Last night they Set up 4-6-0 play for a 0-0, the players and Whelan didn’t want to stitch Maloney up with a win.
Showing solidarity to their ex manager by pissing around, at 0-0 Whelan takes off Taylor with a knock Cal Mac on the bench what does he do puts a defender on (Robinson) fuck the travelling fans or going for the win.
The players showing their true colours now, they’ve had such an easy ride under Maloney they are shitting themselves and sulking because they’ll be out of their comfort zone, hopefully the new guy sorts this shit show out pronto.

The rank and file followers have been very patient, perhaps heeding the advice not to burn the bridge when you’re standing on it.
