Very much like watching some of the shite Cook used to churn up much of the time.
There were enough pricks at the grand covid spreading event in Bristol last weekend. We dont need that in Wigan.
Seen that under plenty managers. Warren Joyce used to play 0 upfront and Malky Mackay played James McClean there.
Bit harsh on a guy who in his 3 seasons here won us the league and then kept us in the championship not once but twice.
Shame he finished 12 clear the season it didn’t matter though
Anyway – as Bullitt says we got what we deserved today.

The important thing now is that we still have a club and a team. Its going to be a struggle for sure but we still have our club and that is the main thing.
You’d be watching rugby only if he buys it. He wants the ground not the club, we’d be with Bury
In which case if Koukash buys it (a St Helens fan), he should put the Cuckoo’s rent up as his first job. I’m with Bullit; Lenagan doesn’t appeal to me at all, and I might just vote with my feet because I cannot see anything in it other than Lenagan’s self interest. I remain to be convinced !
I’m more concerned about Koukash sticking to the FFP rules and not spitting his dummy out when he can’t buy success as he did at Salford
Ffp doesn’t mean a damn thing. Look at Wolves. Look at Man City and Chelsea. All have spent or spend far more than what they generate.
Look at Nob End, financed like a toy for uncle Trev to the extent of something like 90 million over the years. Rovers and the chicken men. Cheapest seats around and little support and generating a fraction of income than what the chicken men put in.
Hats off to a couple of clubs. The Dingles and Brentford have it right.I’m a bit worried about this now, who going to pick the team and give the team talk? Paul Cook’ll be out on the lash now until October, pubs or no pubs <noscript>

Congratulations to Liverpool tho but that’ll be us in a couple of years if our young uns get a gameSo then it won’t be us because our young guns don’t get a look in.
he was handed the third biggest spend in the league
No he wasn’t
https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/championship/transfers/wettbewerb/GB2Well said lad.
Its an expensive pitch and an expensive pitch to maintain. Last time I was there against Luton it had started looking ropey and tired. An improvement on other years but starting to wear again. It never has looked fantastic on tv like other clubs and thats down to the amount of play but now after us playing on it last summer and not sticking to a maintenance program it is totally shot at and will cost a fortune to put right. Maybe even requiring a new pitch again because of the lack of maintenance.
The pitch lights are only a tiny fraction of what has been missing.
If you ran a ferrari would you not have it serviced and serviced to manufacturers recommendation? So if it’s good news for us in moving forward what does comrade Nandy know that fans who have supported the club for many years don’t know?
There is something going on behind all this, something Nandy, the S.C. and possibly the council all know, that the fans are being kept in the dark about.
It doesn’t seem like any of those lot were ever happy about the Spanish bid.
What do they know or what have they been scheming and with whom? The new format hasnt helped.
We literally have 11 players. Jones, Naismith, Palmer, Otobar and the 2 centre backs didn’t play today.
Our squad is made up of kids and players nobody wants.
The commentary team made it sound like they hae come from behind to beat Liverpool at Anfield today. They beat 10 men, 6 or 7 of which were kids.
Yes we should have held on as a L1 club, but we are only that in name.
Things will get a lot lot worse before this nightmare is over.
It is certainly only that in name. With your exlanation there which is spot on I wouldnt even put this down as an upset or giant killing. Most of those youngsters under normal circumstances would be loaned out to non league clubs and Chorleys management knew that. Our journeymen who were actually fit would also under normal circumstances would also more than likely have fallen out of the football league and be part time in non league so to me no upst whatsooever as we have a non league manager too.
I watched that today and was shocked. Was Massey a regular last season, or is he at the end of a contract that originated when you were last in the 3rd division? I agree that he looked utter gash though, but then again so did everyone except the lad who was playing out right (Crankshaw – I think)
Serious question – how far do you think you’ll drop before you start to rise again (ie, do you think you’ll stay up, and if not, do you think you’ll come straight back up)?
He was in and out of the side.
We will be relegated this season and struggle in League 2 unless there is some real substance in this elongated takeover. -
