Sorry to say, friend
You scanned this all incorrect
This is a haiku(Three lines, of 5-7-5 syllables respectively)
:D
I might be learning something here, but I’m not sure what it is.
Is an “haiku” a new Paul Cook formation to not score goals?
Horc, theres a typo with my guess. Don’t want someone else to nab it and have to call in var!
I think we will win by the odd goal
or Mr Cook might be on the dole.We start every game like a Lion and finish it like a mouse,
There’s only one place for Cook if we lose today and that is Brocol House.A win by an odd goal?
Now thats what I call “Rock n Roll”
There was a young man called Paul
Who liked to play the long ball
The end of a match
Is painful to watch
As we always end up with f allThis needs to go in the hall of fame

The team we have it does seem cursed
It surely cannot get much worse.
But I have only just got up
And read your poem o’er coffee cup.
This morning I have gone from bed to verse.Your coffee must be of great quality
To have responded with such fine frivolityYes we are all pissed off and frustrated, 93 minutes gone and we were out of the bottom 3,one minute later… You know the rest. I have tried to look at the positives recently, Naismith really solid as a centre back, Derby’s goal first we have conceded in over 3 hours play and safety is only 1 point away (21).I know it doesn’t seem much but keep the faith!
It takes guts and bravery to keep the faith after today, but thats what we do. Because we’re Tics.
But bloody hell I need some wine!!
I think I need more than wine.
I don’t think there is enough wine for us both!

To be fair to More, he does have a few assists despite the tactics and general lack of support and service.
I’m enjoying the Kipre & Beckenbauer combination at the back and looking forward to seeing where it goes.
Happy Christmas everyone, loved the banter and arguing on this site since I started posting
Up the Boxing Day Tics!
Barnsley show true get out of it grit at Millwall………us….we’d have conceded 2 more in stoppage time………we are a f&&&&&&& embarrassing mess.
I am actually dreading Mondays game. Been thinking of making the effort to go the Boxing Day game as no rush afterwards, no work or anything.
But, if we capitulate at Ewood, and theres a chance of it getting dark and moody at the Derby game, I think I will give it a miss, and let the kids stay on their Xbox’s as well. Cant be doing with letting the mood and stress of it all impinge on our Boxing day. Sod that, I’d rather not.
But it will get dark & moody. It usually goes dark by 3.30pm. Although we have now had the winter solstice, so the evenings will start to get lighter.
You always lift the gloom Runcorn.
In Darwen & Blackburn there is no sunrise there is no sunset, and rarely any points for us!
He does also like a puzzling substitution.
But would you dare to concede a 93rd minute goal if you know he’ll be waiting for you in the dressing room
If we do eventually sack Paul Cook, would we consider Duncan Ferguson? It could work well for both parties and he would fit the profile with us investing in youth, similar to Everton on a smaller scale. He would get some management experience on his CV and a team with some potential. So maybe a credible gamble?
Hopefully we won’t need to go down this route as we’re gonna win 5 on the bounce.
I’ve worked in Blackburn as well, their a dismal bunch. Ewood is a bogey ground for us, half the time our team hasn’t even got off the bus when we’ve played there.
Can you still get a “John Bull” with chips? Or have the chippies closed down as well? That is a wonderful colourisation, congratulations again Garswood.
This gives me an opportunity to ask the Elders a question about this season.
To the tune of Boney M’s “Brown girl in the rain”, did our fans sing “Jonn Brown in the rain” or “Brownbill on the bench”, or both?
Puzzled me for years this question!
