I’ve turned 50 recently
I’m sure I was still young at the start of the season, now I’m looking at stairlifts!
I didn’t realise you were older than martinh, I thought you were the same age.
Ha ha, I was always older, Martin the more intelligent. As for the other one who supported Preston? I have nightmares that he’ll turn up as Donald Trump’s adviser!
Even as a young un, I know you’re a lucky lucky bar steward!
Can we just drop it for the Bogdan jokes?
Oh he already did

Some great memories watching all that, and many more to come.
For me Morsy is our engine room and makes us tick, when we’re playing well. Powell is more talented and more of a goal threat, but his hamstring will never be right and we’ll be lucky to see him in half the games (if he stays).
Really I’d like them both to stay but I honestly don’t think we’ll miss Powell while he’s on Sjoke’s treatment table.I do agree it would be a bad move for Powell as he won’t get the patience and care we gave him. I’m not worried about him leaving tho as many have said, he’s too injury prone.
I would be sad to see Morsy go but he’s under contract so we’d at least get a decent fee for him. These are great parts to a brilliant piece of Latics history.
Any more?
Cheers donny I knew you’d fill us in with some memories
Ah! Gordon Milne.
Thank you Nuneatonlatic. I envy any Latics fan who was there it must have been quite an experience.
I wish the club could dig out the MOTD coverage
I didn’t mean it as a trick question, I just don’t have any old programmes to hand.
Out of curiosity does anyone have any recollections of the 70/71 cup tie? I have read the bit from Tony Topping recently posted on Twitter, but never heard much else.
Puts into perspective what we achieved at Wembley and in the win last season after the way they demolished Watford yesterday. Maybe they should have contacted Cooky,Martinez for advice.
Or even The Great Paul Jewell and Uwe Rosler.
Or, here’s one for you to answer donny, the manager in 70/71
Our second FA Cup win will be even better!!!!!!
Up the CookingTics
Is this one of our many reasons for loving Latics? No money no fans no worries, we’ll ave a go at em all.
To be sensibl this City team is on another level, but it won’t last.
And we’d still beat em!
A very disappointing shoe choice today from Roberto today, he’s lost it since leaving Latics
