Relied on an 88th min own goal to scab a point at home to the bottom of the league! Will he find positives from it? :silly:
I’m just saying it as I see it Fil.The buzz around the ground for the first 20 mins was great and balls whizzed into the box from both wings.The Kvist injury and more so the Clarke injury, resulted in the atmosphere going flat and with it our strangle hold on the game. Anyone with half a football brain could see that. :huh:
We always start off with a degree of promise, the only difference tonight was that it lasted slightly longer! :)

John, how many times this season have you witnessed a gutsy albeit no clear chance of a goal in the first 10- 15 mins display only to see us get overrun and eventually capitulate! We get lulled into a false sense of security in practically every single home game with that initial burst! A football match is played over 90 mins !
How can giving Uwe Rosler £10m in summer be a conspiracy to get us relegated? Whatever happens, there has to be proper planning by the board ie the type of football we’re going to play, getting the correct manager in to play that style and giving that manager enough money to get back in to the Championship.I do think Malky may be gone very shortly, on a footballing level it was a good appointment, but he’s made no difference whatsoever, even though he’s had a tough hand to work with.
He was getting on better with Charlton’s manager than Rosler did! :cheer:
I will say this again, Whelan when left with a shortlist of 2, Coyle and McClaren, chose the cheap option and so began the fall from grace of our club! He only has himself to blame but somehow I don’t think he really gives a flier!
Bit bad really when the only notable applause of the evening was for Garcia ! I wish him well in his fight and hope he makes a full recovery! That lot out there on the pitch tonight deserve nothing!
