26 August 2013 at 6:38 am #119867My mate is an Everton fan and he said some fans booed them off ! He said that there was a lot of possession in their own half with not a lot to show for it ! It was like deja vu when he told me that !

It was like deja vu when he told me that !Sky Sports were reporting booing during the game as even with 3 men in the box the team was opting to pass it around rather than cross. He he he.
26 August 2013 at 1:21 pm #119872I watched the second half online as I was bored with the Rugby.
Everton did pass the ball about and retain possession but at a much quicker tempo than we ever did under RM.
They were unlucky. Fellaini hit the post when he should have scored and a Coleman cross hit the bar.
Fellaini was playing too deep though and didn’t seem to be very influential as a result but my mate who is a season ticket holder at Goodison reckons he wasn’t really trying and wants away ala McCarthy !!!!!
Watch this space !!!!!!
26 August 2013 at 5:49 pm #119885You Leyland lot seem to have a very unhealthy obsession with Martinez. Let it go! Why are you remotely arsed about what happens at Everton.
26 August 2013 at 6:13 pm #119888You Leyland lot seem to have a very unhealthy obsession with Martinez. Let it go! Why are you remotely arsed about what happens at Everton. We have let it go; in fact we have definitely cut him adrift !!!
However it is interesting to follow the fortunes of our past players or managers. Likewise we’ll be keeping a sneaky eye on Brucie, etc.26 August 2013 at 6:14 pm #119889cant remember anyone saying let it go on the best manager thread. or come to think of it the best left back thread or best formation thread etc. some people are arsed about what happens to ex wigan staff especially them that have played a big part in our history.
26 August 2013 at 6:48 pm #119890some people are arsed about what happens to ex wigan staff especially them that have played a big part in our history. So am I. Big difference is I want to see him do well, the Leyland lot just can’t wait to see him fail. Mind you, I’m not surprised. I’ve never heard them utter a positive word about anything.
26 August 2013 at 7:27 pm #119891After seeing the rubbish we have been served up so far I wish he was still here. You could at least see a plan even if it didn’t always work. Fortune yesterday started off up front and ended up right back at start of second half before ending up back up front. Its OK signing 8 new players but if 7 are complete gash it’s a waste of money. This Honduran lad must be bad if Craineys playing in front of him, Perch ain’t a centre half, McCann out of his depth, Fortune a journeyman and giving that Grant a 3 year deal looks terrible business already. For a supposed handful his arial ability looks woeful so far whilst he has a job to move at times. I really hope im proved wrong but it’s difficult to be positive given the last 3 performances. Onwards and upwards.

fair do’s
27 August 2013 at 1:31 pm #119919Well I am positive that Everton will not be in the top 8 this season ! If they lose Baines and Fellaini they wont even finish in the top half !
