I am going to start using the designated cycle routes dotted around the county with my 4yr old son, there are plenty to go at and all motor vehicle free ! When I get some time I am going to do the Guild Wheel route that takes you round the outskirts of Preston and is 21 miles long but I wont be taking Ethan on that one ! I think that the commuter cyclists have more road sense than the leisure cyclists that take to the roads of a weekend !
ineffective what you on about mate beausejour nade our goal and had the full back all over the place watson good fgerola average caldwell poot di santo rubbish but i will still be there next week you going mateYeah I will be there !
Surprised nobody has mentioned how poor and out of shape Jean Beausejour looked ! Why he wasn’t substituted is a mystery to me ! As for Watson, a game of two halves in my opinion for him. His misplaced passes in the second half far outnumbered his completed passes from the first half. Stam was brilliant when he came on and must surely start next week.I would move everyone in the back line along one to accomodate him and drop the ineffective Beausejour.
Griff you big snitch, I bet you subjected that old lady to terrible in-flight films as a result of being unable to knit. While we’re on the subject of airports, my favourite has to be Blackpool. Check-in a few hours before flight, nip outside and go next door to the Two For One pub. Big meal and a few beers later, stroll to the depature lounge and board flight. That’s how it should be!
My worst experience was two years ago. I was in Barbados waiting for a flight to Gatwick which was 8 hours late due to the plane skidding off the runway at Gatwick earlier in the day as a result of the snow. When approaching the runway all the power on the plane cut off and all the engines failed. We then had to get towed back to the stand so that we could hook back up to the airports power supply to start up the plane again (essentially, a bit of a jump start). Suffice to say, I had a bit of a nervous journey home.
Most surreal airport I have seen (admittedly just from the beach) is Dutch St Maarten airport:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zAfQwDizpRoThe take offs are better at Princess Juliana, more speed and so therefore more of a buzz ! !
You need to make A.R.S.E.D an acronym, or is it already ? I am too tired to think of one at the moment. Well actually I cant be ARSED !
Not so sure about being likened to Eddie The Eagle and using Ben Watson and hero in the same sentence but apart from that a half decent read !
started reading this thinking it was a good post disgusting actuallyHa ha ha !! :P
Humble Pie, Steve Marriot’s band after he left The Small Faces. Eric Clapton was on the radio the other day talking about when he met Steve Marriot, it was backstage on the set of Top Of The Pops 1967 and Jimmy Savile introduced cream to the small faces !
One look at his coiffure and I find it difficult to take the lad serious !
Griff, you call yourself a lightsider !!
A realist, my friend ;)[/quote]
Similar estimate to mine only you don’t seem think we have fixed our defence by the looks of that prediction ! ;)
Wouldn’t it have been better with “Have a Knight Day”?
That’s what I said at the time ! Back to the story of Camelot closing, the World of business is very much a lottery these days ! :)
West Brom away ! 3 on the trot anyone ? I think we can.
It is at home on Saturday, the away fixture is in May 2013…
My post carries on from the thread title ! In other words, West Brom are winless away !
Griff, you call yourself a lightsider !!
I said Bradford! last week !
I remember our Jeff ( Bob On The Moon ) working there years ago and he had to wear a tee shirt with some sort of Camelot type picture on the front but on the back it said ” Have A Knife Day ” ha ha ha !
