Summut up with me? I enjoyed today’s trip out. I had fun. Some dubious refs decisions, not least their goal and our penalty (maybe 2) that never happened. Some surprising attacks, some near goals. Lotsa corners we make nothing off. Some Boycee-esque goal line saves. A shot towards the goal. A figueroa back pass. Then McDonald came on, partnered with James and we looked almost as if …… well, anything could happen and before that it looked almost as if nowt may happen. There is hope!! Added to that I met up with some good Wigan fans, I heard some passionate support and was able to get away with talking almost rubbish for most of the game. I don’t need therapy … this is my therapy. Roll on AVFC!! A removal from the real world. Callum and Mcdonald MoMs, even though they weren’t for 90 minutes between them. Naismith confounded his doubters. Whats more I got in on my unused boxing day ticket.
I’ve had another good idea. Can we start a competition / league table that predicts the number of people still in the stadium at 87 minutes, for each game.
Having contacted Ms Dinnage she assures me that Rule 6 section 6 says that all entries submitted after it was pointed out there were no ‘6s’ are null and void.
She said to me “this is a serious transgression of the rules, and it is petty tinkering like this that has made me realise I can’t continue with my appointment”. She continued “I do think Horc does an amazing job, its a thankless task, but it would be like Sir Fergusson pointing out to the 4th official that his team had no goals, so they were immediately awarded one. Fortunately, at least, we never saw that happen”.
Thank you for passing on the kind comments from Ms Dinnage. I hadn’t realised that she was taking such an interest in our competition. It just goes to show how far ‘Little Wigan’ have come,
If you see or hear from Ms Dinnage again, please pass on my best wishes to her for anything she does now that she is not taking up her post as CEO of the PL, Maybe she could come to CL and help out with the Prediction League.

That looks like either favouritism or the equivalent of match fixing.
Come on lads and lasses, I know its Christmas and everyone is busy, but we have only had nine predictions so far for the game on Tuesday against Sheffield Utd.Don’t leave it too late as the cut off is nearing and you might miss out on the chance of moving up the league table.
If you don’t predict there is a good chance you will plummet WAFC style near to the danger zone.
As January approaches I am seriously thinking about selling a few of my assets and buying in 1 or 2 more formulae. Horc, when can transfers start to be employed?

This is a great thread, and I approve of the rules. I also approve of being up front with Horc. I wont be commenting on toadys game as I didn’t submit the team. Disappointed not to carry on with the win, but delighted with 1 point.
