Don’t think so. Most West Ham fans I spoke to both before and after were a great bunch. No sour grapes with us, just pissed of with their board and Moyes’s team selection.

      That was exactly my experience.

If you can be bothered to watch this vlog from a neutral …. I think it is great, with some nice observations and some good clips of the game including Superman’s dash at goal.

As good as an individual performance you are likely to see. Absolutely outstanding in everything he did. Looks like he plays in the gear he needs to which has been 2nd gear all season. Put it in 5th today and what a player he is.

Today he was rubbish, lazy and couldn’t give a toss. Luckily he was so shocking no one will want to poach him. On Thursday I’ll tell you that he probably had his best game of the season. But today he was total crap, weak on the tackle.

Alcaraz let us down at Wolves didn’t he? Not nice. What is the penalty for doing that?

TBH I think it is pretty gross when they just casually spit here there and every where at any old time. The pitch must be awash with the stuff that they then go and roll around in.

Which bit of “a non-disclosure agreement has been signed between both parties” is everyone struggling with?
We will hear nothing until it’s all sorted. It’s like any business take-over.

I understand no details being made public, but there was an article on the BBC earlier in the week about it with quotes from Jonathon Jackson.
If Jonathon Jackson can speak, or be quoted on the BBC, then surely he can make some kind of announcement directly to the fans via the website.
We don’t even get regular updates on the progress of players ie Craig Morgan etc so there isn’t much hope of any communication on matters such as this Horc.
No one at the club ever replies to my letters ……… it’s a common courtesy my Mum taught me. Bring back Brenda.

Does anybody know why our match at Ewood is being played on a Sunday? I don’t remember seeing any announcement about a fixture change. Is it being televised?

This isn’t really an answer to your question …. but I think it has always been on Sunday – at least it is down as Sunday on little fixture card they hand out at the start of the season. No idea why though.

Official site says that over 10,000 have already been sold with three days and match day to go. I think Ill have to give LHL a ring tomorrow if he doesn’t see this.

Leave it with me HORC, I’ll organise three tickets then.
Sorted; we are sitting with the WAGS.
Just printed 3 off ( Ticketing made simple, Great !)
Did anyone go to the AGM last night?

A statement was read out from the Whelan family which said the process has been ongoing since October and a non-disclosure agreement has been signed between both parties.

So, there will be no announcements until the take-over is finalised.

Just wondering what the mood was, and did anyone gauge anything else from reactions to questions?

It’s ten hours since the original post by Standish and still no one has commented. We’ve come to expect no communication from the club, but now it seems the shareholders and fans are becoming as bad.
C’mon, someone must have been and must have a bit of news about something.
Horc, I’ve been. I’ve been twice today and I have got a bit of news about something …… talking of Gordon Banks’ save Pele said, “I score more than a thousand goals in my life, but the one I don’t score, they remember”. Beyond that, I can’t help. Sworn to secrecy!! It was agreed at the AGM that anyone serving mulled wine will have a life ban, and oversized flasks are to be banned.

If you are a season ticket holder and therefore a loyal fan, i don’t see any reason why you wouldn’t want to go to this game at 15 quid.

That’s why I’m going and not too fussed about £15.00.

However, I was going to go to Rochdale away until I added up £47 return train, £22 game ticket, £80 hotel for the night, a bit for summut to eat and a day off work. Added to that I’ve already paid £30 for a return train ticket which never got used because the game was postponed. I didn’t pay that for a Cup final.

I’m surprised the ST ticket holders have to pay. But I will. Could be a nice perk of buying a ST

Gate receipts are split 50/50 with the opposition, so if we didn’t charge for ST holders we would still have to pay half the notional charge, so be out of pocket.
Heh! Thanks! I didn’t know that. Thanks for the explanation. Makes complete sense.

There are some serious ‘new fan’ dislikers on Vital …… what does that say??

Well my son is a life long supporter, but you have been going longer than him, some things don’t add up do they!

And I’m nearly 62, doing goal shoot on my 60th plus 1 week birthday!! It was meant to be on my 60th but because they had recently relaid the turf, despite having had 22 boots running around on the pitch for 45 minutes …. goal shoot was postponed. And that is relevant to nothing!!

I don’t understand the problem people have with new fans. At some point we were all new fans to some people and for the club to evolve and be successful we need the next generation of new fans each time. We should welcome them and listen to their opinions rather than think we are better than them or are a more valuable fan with more rights because we happened to have been going for 20, 30, 40 or even 50 years. I love seeing kids there and think it’s great when we get a big crowd in.

Thanks dnr, I’ve been a ‘lifelong’ supporter since about August 2007. Before that I didn’t live anywhere near Wigan, Wellington NZ being a bit too far to travel. I went a few times and pretty quickly ‘got hooked’, and loved almost every minute, as well as meeting loadsa great people. 11 years later I’m a ST holder and still live a 2 hour train ride away. I do get a teeeny bit hacked off when I hear criticism of the ‘new arrivals’, so thanks for your welcome and understanding.
