All the more reason why we must stay in this division and possibly why Caldwell was sacked. Up to now Joyce has been no better so how much more will be tolerated by the club if indeed they see staying in the Championship as paramount to our short term future.
Not much the club can do now, who else could possibly come in??
What happened to that £25m we were promised in the first Prem season?
Jewell spend it on brasses.
I think people need to chill out about that 25mil, get over it.
If we go down this year we will struggleI don’t really think we are in much danger of that happening, despite how it looks now.
As negative as this may seem, I think it is positive in the long term.
You get a bunch of workshy lazy lard arses to meet up in a flea pit like Harry’s Bar on a weekday afternoon they shovel pies in to their greedy slavering gobs and the fastest wins.
Thats more or less it.
Probably Wigan rugby followers!
Beat you did he?
Yeah manz.
I could win this competition.
Rotherham have been pretty hard to beat lately late goal against Wednesday saw them off. I think some on here are expecting it to be 3 points im not so confident with our own form and luck.
Not confident with our luck, but we are playing alright stuff, we can comfortably beat Rotherham. Start Yanic and Jordi and it is a win.
Has somebody logged on with James’ username? That is coherent, constructive and a fair assesssment of the likely outcome of the game.
No, still the same Big James, just thought that from my point of view, this was quite relevant to post.
Big up the good ones yeah pal.

Christmas????I’ll have 2 Wigan goals per game, please Santa Joyceee and a ref who doesn’t need glasses.
Not a big ask.
A football mate. Cheers pal.
Oh right, okay mate. Good one yeah.
You asked why you were given a 1 week ban, but didn’t give a return email address (the one on your profile bounced).
These sort of posts are why!
Stop posting inane unnecessary posts or the next ban will be a permanent one.
I wouldn’t say it is inane, I am agreeing with my fellow posters, I don’t feel that backing people up and agreeing or disagreeing should be a ban.
Right, good, nice one pal, buddy. Bottled it there pal, eh? Good one pal.
Good one buddy, too inane that though, I disagree.
Pie-eating winner 2016 Martin Appleton-ClareWhat pies where they? Appleton pies? :P
Oh right, okay mate. Good one yeah.

Looks like Joyce needs players
With a bench including academy graduates Luke Burke, James Barrigan, Sam Stubbs, Joyce was also hamstrung by a lack of established quality to bring on and affect the game.“Obviously we had three academy kids on the bench, and we’ve got what we’ve got,” the Latics chief mused.“That’s it really at the minute.“We’re continuously assessing the squad, and another couple of bumps and bruises haven’t helped.”
He cant wait fr January to come apparently
Oh right, okay mate. Good one yeah.
Get this comment from Joyce:Joyce says the 18-year-old is still some way off being considered from the start. “Luke’s been injured since I’ve been at the club, and he’s only just coming back,” Joyce told the Evening Post.“I’ve not seen a lot of him, it’s only the last week or so that he’s been back involved.”
Surely if he isn’t fit enough to be considered for a start, he shouldn’t even be on the bench should he?
Well good comment this one mate, I agree. Cheers pal.
David Coote is the referee for the Rotherham game and he will break his duck with one (or both) teams on Boxing Day.He has been in charge for 2 of our games (losses to Sheff Wed and Reading [Joyce’s firstish game]) and Rotherhams loss to Cardiff.
So he will see one or both team not lose for the first time this season.
Interesting that buddy cheers mate.
