29 too old for a striker? You utter plant pot!! Any footballer will tell you that 28-30 are their prime years. I’m not arguing for argument sake I’ve simply stated the facts and not pished my pants over Owens flippin hat trick.
As for Valencia I was on holiday in Bulgaria and met 2 united season ticket holders. They knew fek aw about valencia and moaned like fek about ferggie signing an unknown. I tried to convince them he was a guddon.
jeesh some folk on here.

Your an idiot. I didn’t once say it was TOO old but when he relies on pace a lot it is quite old. They knew ‘fek aw’ bout Valencia because he isn’t even really good. I was not bothered in the slightest when he left and he isn’t ‘top 4’ quality. Oh and you do argue for arguments sake and your arguments are awful and wrong.
You don’t think he’s good enough but the most successful manager in the history of football does.??? I would suggest on that basis alone, it is your arguments that are awful and wrong sunshine.
No I don’t think he’s good enough, neither do most utd fans that I know, So me and many utd fans could easily be right and fergie made a mistake, which is what happened my friend

Liverpool will beat us 10-0. Then in a few weeks, when they play Wolves, Match of the Day will say ‘Last time Liverpool played a team beginning with ‘W’, they scored ten’. Then we’ll accuse the BBC’s secret ‘Anti WAFC’ department of victimisation and bullying.

:D :D :D :D

”And now Spurs v Wolves. Now the last time Spurs played a team beginning with W they won 9-1 ! ” FFS who writes the scripts !!

I believe the BBC have now got an ‘Anti WAFC’ department. They have a team of people working constantly on put downs for WAFC.

Not.
Haha. :D …
Realy don’t see why people moan, the statement was true. And we deserve little digs for losing 9-1

He’d have done a better job than HUGO at that penalty. Anyway no adverse comments about today’s perfrmance – Am proud to be a Latics fan – Maynor’s sneaky goal was awesome!!! Infact it was just PURRRR FECT!

Unfortunatley though defence a little edgy again, But on the whole i would have took 2 goals and a point at Stoke, Figgy’s goal speaks for itself and Gomez was brilliant, Just shows what he can do with a bit of time and space. We bossed the game in the last two thirds however like i say we a lacking at the back, God help us against Torres. Very happy with the performance though.

Oh and before any snide comments come in, ive been at work this morning and couldn’t get to the game.

Contradicting yourself enough there? Say a good thing then say a bad thing… We should have won, We aren’t killing games off when we should be, Sorenson mayaswell have been stood 2 feet away from the ball he was that far out his area for the pen.

Its just another part of `chuck away Britain`

Why repair owt when its easy just to get a new un with yer well earned wages or yer not so well earned benefits!

You serious? Chuck away britain? Haha… Changing replacement for replace doesn’t mean that they’re not going to repair it it’s just shortening a word and leaving it with the same meaning more or less. Found that funny how you went all depressed about that when it doesn’t change and in FACT, The word repair is still in it so why wouldn’t they repair it?
And Fil, I havent listened to it in enough detail to realise if it has actually just been shortened at the end but I didn’t notice it.

I love my club a lot more than this plastic league. Wouldnt ever like to see us relegated. Some of us on here and at New Springfield have seen that and it wasnt good. But hey out of this hyped up fanfare blowing charade there are more games a season, cup runs, decent derby games. There is even potentially the chance to stand up again at away games. Oh yes and away games you half expect to win and can even afford. Just think without all that rubbish we have prior to kick off the crowd may even get the chance to get going. Pop side or South stand could be superb at times. Thats good to do that winning thing and knowing that the club wouldnt just be happy to win 9 or so games and draw a few to be safe. Just think first team out int cup, English players that work past half time could be interesting and not losing games to stupid internationals and three o clock kick offs. If anyone remembers the football didnt seem worse than it is now and it was a darn sight more interesting.

Was bad football though, Big gap between Championship and premiership and I would prefer to be in the prem. But i get it your weird and you want our team to get relegated…Well done

This post typifies how some people react to a situation on here. An over reaction as usual!!
Take last nights hat trick against a pish poor team out the equation for a second, lets look at what Michael Owen has achieved this season:-

1) Struggled to make the first team or even the bench at times at Man U, despite only being 29 years of age and having played in the prem or the top leagues in europe for over 10 years.

2) Struggled to make the first 11 at Man U on a regular basis despite costing them nigh on £100 grand a week in wages.

3) Struggled to make the first 11 at Man U on a regular basis despite united going through a transition of losing quality players either through transfers, injuries or simply being past their sell by date.

4) Struggled to make the first 11 at Man U on a regular basis despite a young unknown Equadorian player from Wigan making more appearances for them than any other player in the squad.

5) When given the chance to play he looks like a third division player at best sqaundering chance after chance in the first 10 matches he played and looking 10 yards slower than he was 5 years ago.

Suddenly he gets a hat trick against a team that wouldn’t hold its own in the scottish second division and its dave whelan said this, dave whelan said that.

Dave whelan was bang on, Owen was and is not worth the money he still attracts. He’s more interested in his horses than pulling a gut out for his team.

So biased, He isnt an unknow equadorian he was kinda already in the prem. ONLY 29??? Quite old for a striker who relies on pace a lot. Need to post something that isn’t trying to argue for arguments sake you :D
