Did Roberto come here saying he was going to set the league on fire by getting us a European place this year, did he say he was going to get us into the top ten this year?
No he didn’t. He said that the first year would be transitional and that he hoped that he could get the points to survive this year. I t was going to be a new style, a new set up and a new ethos at Wigan Athletic and things wouldn’t happen overnight.
Why then were the expextations so different from a part of the fan base.
I do remember Bruce saying he was going to go for Europe and ended up winning just 2 more games out of 21 after that, did he get slaughtered, No.
So why is someone who told it as it would be getting all this grief?

Roberto’s a top bloke and all but if he’s manager next season, he’ll take us down. You don’t have to walk in front of a bus to know it’s going to hurt.I remember certain factions saying that at the beginning of last season.
Oh and the one before that and the one before that, in fact I’ve seen it posted on here at the beginning of evry season we’ve been here. We don’t have to worry at Wigan Athletic about the press getting on our backs, we have enough of our own that do ten times the demoralising job that they do.

Except for the young uns on here (under 16), I would think that we can all act like adults, know what should and shouldn’t be posted and just have the tiniest bit of respect for everyone else who posts.
Calling somebody a paedophile is generally not something that should be posted is it, that is why (I’ve been told) your mate got banned for a few days. Putting links to pornographic sites or sites that exploit under age scantily clad girls, under the banner of vote whether they are ‘hot or not’ is again not something we want to see on site.
As I said before, grow up.

To put things straight and into perspective here, I had a report through from JamesC saying he thought Thirty,,, should be banned for calling him a name, when two posts later he called thirty a name.
I used the board warning system to ask him to grow up, nothing stronger, nothing that is going to mentally scar.
As I have asked you, grow up. You are pathetic. If you can’t take it, don’t give it. If you can’t handle it, can I suggest you don’t go on message boards?

You have to use the drop down box to change from 1×2 to Parlay 1×2, but it generally win’t let you do it, that is ehy I changed to betfair… better odds and 1,000,000 times easier to use.
They keep telling us they are wotking to make it easier for the UK Market, but it hasn’t happened yet.
