I actually think we can get something against Arsenal ! For the record I didn’t come out with any negativity re the Sunderland game before or after !

PS: By the way I hate the barsteward for leaving us in the lurch, not once, but twice. The second time in his first media interview live on TV, he compared us to Tesco and Sunderland to Harrods. I’m sure he could have thought of something less derogatory to say than that in his first interview after dumping us. Then, no sooner does he say those remarks when he comes back shopping at Tesco for Catters and Bramble.
He will no doubt be looking for another club before xmas having spent a ponful of money and his team are going backwards, even with his “Harrods” purchases.…and before you say at least they’ve more points than us, just ask yourself what Brucies target was at the start of last season and this, to finish above Wigan Athletic?? ;)

What a journey!A lot of the moaners about the team will also be the same people moaning about not being able to get a job, moaning that their job doesn’t cut it for them, not earning enough money etc etc.
Positivity gives your a positive outlook on live and things happen. If you walk around all day being negative each problem presented to you goes straight onto your shoulders and weighs you down, being positive allows you to shrug things off and keep going.
Wigan have a strange breed of fanbase, some are Ex-rugby and used to supporting a team always challenging for top honours, some are new fans (JCL) who only ever known Wigan Athletic as a winning / successful team and then there are the rest of us who have seen the bad times and are just glad we are now playing in the biggest league in the world.
For me if we do go down to the championship the worst thing that happens are 1) I will goto more away games 2) we win a few more games 3) we get to compete to get back up into the premier league.
When you look at it like that its easy to stay positive about things that go on, as being relegated will bring positive things.
People focus on the negative things too much!

I never watch a game through blue tinted glasses ask the people I sit with and they will confirm that. however, I’ve just reassessed my statement and indeed you are right, I was talking through my arris. We should have actually won 9 of them.

What a journey!Well the way I see the Premiership table at the moment is that Sunderland will still be there next season…ermmm not so sure about us though. Fair do’s we were robbed last week but I don’t think Wes Brown will present many other teams with 3 points like he did today and we won’t be presented with many more winning goals in the way we were today either, so I know who I would think is the most pi**ed off manager today and I’m sure their bosses must see it the same way. According to BBC stats attempts on goal Sun 17 Wigan 7. Posession Sun 49% Wigan 51%…so what were we doing with the ball while we had posession?????
