What a journey!…but Bobby’s spin & untruths do grate on me now to the extent where if he told me it was raining I’d go outside to check
 Like that.
And if it was sunny, dry and 120 degrees he’d still put his brolly up!! :scared-eek: ;)

What a journey!Give the guy a chance FFS the Zog deal only went through a couple of days ago!
As for not improved since last season only time will tell. The last 10 games or so saw a vast improvement to the team, that blew LMB and a few others hopes / wishes / dreams whatever they were of relegation out the water.
There are Zog replacements out there and hopefully bobby will find them. So chill out please and let the season unfold. :angry-chillpill:

What a journey! Why do people pad out stuff to convince themselves they are the most worldly-wise person in the football world? He was bought to score goals, he hasn’t therefore is classed as a dud, bottom-line.I’m not trying to pad anything out or attempting to convince me you or anyone about Bosselli.
Just seriously ask yourself though, has he been given a fair crack of the whip? What was it 8 games he played some as sub??.Lets move on to summut else FFS!!

What a journey!away from the Q&A sessions does the recent “N’Zogbia isn’t coming to Austria not coz a deal is being struck but coz he needs the rest” ring any bells??? It was obviously bull as soon as it came out of his mouth & it was proved to be just days later – he had his reasons but it was bull nonetheless
Sorry pal but it was Whelan who said that not Martinez so it rings tons er fekin bells.
As for taking anything Bobby says with a pinch of salt well no I fekin well won’t. He’s the manager of my beloved football club and yours I presume, he speaks from the heart and other football club managers need to take a leaf out of his book. There’s a little word in the English language called “BELIEVE”, and being a manager most of my life I try to make the people who work for me believe in what I’m trying to make them do. If I achieve that, we all go away happy in what we have achieved as a team. If they don’t believe in what I am telling them then I ask them to move on, it’s best for all parties. I realise you have to involve people in the decision making process, but the final call his with the person who knows best. In football terms at Wigan Athletic I believe that is Bobby.
You and every supporter also have the choice, either believe or bugger orf! :teasing-lurk:As for the Bosselli saga again, do you think that Genoa and Estudiantes have a wage structure like ours?? I bet their tea ladies are on more than Zog was on. Therefore nearly a season with Genoa and a full one with Estudiantes will probably, as Bobby indicates, will more than cover his wages.
He’s still our asset [in terms of ownership], therefore his signing on fee is not lost yet. Who knows he may have a good season with Estudiantes and either come back and do the business with us making the £6m look a snip, or we sell him back at a profit.
Whatever the outcome I for one won’t slag Bobby off for it or ridicule the player. :angry-soapbox:From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!Have you not seen Bobby’s questions and answers session from a few days back, he says we have not lost anything with Bosselli due to the good loan deal arrangements.
Now whatever anyone thinks of Whelan and is comments etc. Bobby does not give me the impression that he is a bulsh-itter.
Bobby bought Bosselli, basically cos he had him watched and he looked a natural goal scorer playing in a demanding league and UP TO NOW its not paid off. No need to hang both manager and player out to dry, these things happen in football and can easily be turned around.
As I’ve said in another thread look at BW, struggling even to make a pass, goes out on loan to West Brom and comes back to be one of our best players last season. Were you one of the supporters who said fek him off??

What a journey!comparing drogba to boselli is shyte
Saying it like that I agree, but look at the whole concept of what I am trying to say. :angry-banghead:
“THE WHOLE CONCEPT OF WHAT YOU ARE SAYING” ???
you said drogba struggled in his first season, which he didn’t, and then compared him to bosselli struggling,
you need to stop banging your head into brick walls as it seems to be doing further irrepairable damage to your already suspect brain cell.
In my “one brain cell” view I still say Drogba didn’t live up to his £24m transfer fee 7 years ago playing in a top Chelsea team. :snooty:
As for views / opinions don’t let me start on “your expert views / opinions” during last season again, you must have a face as hard as that brick wall for even coming back on here pal!!

What a journey!Drogba signed for Chelsea in July 2004 for £24 million, Drogba scored in his third game for the club
Bloody rubbish Drogba signed fror £24m and didn’t score for 3 games!!
Only scored 10 goals in first season playing with all those superstars. even worse.
My opinion still stands and you have quoted the facts to prove it, he didn’t set the world on fire in his first season and cost 4 times more than Bosselli, 7 years ago!!
Even a thick klump like you would admit that Mauro would probably score 10 league goals in his first season playing for Chelski and their 4-4-2 formation. :snooty:

What a journey!hes probably the only person who does still rate that no markI think what Bobby said was that you don’t become a bad player overnight. He has scored goals wherever he’s played and wormed his way into the Argentina national team which is no mean feat.
Some players immediately adapt to the English game, some take a season or two others never adapt. I’m hoping he falls into the middle category and Bobby obviously feels the same.
If the Chelsea backroom staff had the same opinion about Drogba that you do about Bosselli, we would not have seen the goal machine ivory coast star in the EPL this last 4-5 seasons. When he arrived a Chelsea he was less effective than Torres in a blue shirt, took him ages to adjust and score his first goal. Hey, Mr Torres in the blue shirt, there’s another story…. ;)

What a journey!Found it quite amusing and so did the scattering of Preston fans in the adjacent stands.
Don’t mind anything new as long as its not that back to the pitch, arms round each other jump up and down milarky that the city fans pinched off some foreign club they played at Eastlands last year.
Noticed Celtic are doing it now and it won’t be long before the scousers latch on.

What a journey!Gone back to Estudiantes on season long loan.
Bobby said in his questions and answers session the other day that he may still have a future with Latics. He said he found it hard to adapt to the English game and lost his confidence when he missed two sitters in his first few games. He hopes that being in his own surroundings for a season, he may get his confidence back and come back to Wigan a better player. bobby still rates him as a top notch marksman no matter what has gone on last season.
