Nigel Reo-Cokker anyone?

What a journey!Top player, Boselli. Woefully under and misused at our place. A bit like Andreas Johansson under Paul Jewell a few seasons ago.
When has he shown that he’s a top player?
He’s useless. He’s got the touch of an elephant and he’s as slow as a carthorse.
Get rid.[/quote]I’m not being funny but if you was seeing Sammon for the first time last Sunday, you would have said exactly the same. Not much has been said of that due to the euphoria about us stopping up.
I say give Bosseli a chance and also let the fish develop nice and slow next season. He looked far from being a regular starter on last weeks showing. :scared-eek:From Matlock to ManU

What a journey! After watching the cheating little scrotes in the two Real Madrid games I want united to hammer um.
A fantastic team they are, but have recently developed massive egos.
I’ll go 2-1 united with an un-named premier league footballer scoring the winner!! ;)

What a journey! He’ll leave because he has professional ambitions which are a bit higher than securing survival at 5.50pm on the final day of the season. That was last years ambition you egg chasing moron. bobby has already announced next years ambitions……EUROPE!!

What a journey!Seeing that this was posted “especially for jrfatfan”, I suppose I’d better respond.
I have said in an earlier post that I’m not the type to gloat or ask for apologies etc. from any Darkside, following our team staying up and more importantly the passion shown by Martinez, Whelan and all the players at pitch side Sunday towards our beloved team.
It brought a shiver down my spine and a tear to my eye. However, your post TL whilst being a bit cap in hand, still baffled me when reading these words:-
Looking at last season against this season, they’ve won the same amount of games, drawn more, lost less, scored more, conceded less, got a better goal difference by almost 50% & 17% more points. That is progress in anybody’s book
To be fair to myself whilst I have always said that I don’t think Bobby is the right man for the job long term (& I still don’t TBH)
Be it slow progress, it is progress and to say Martinez is not the right man for the job, is IMHO, being very short-sighted.
I and many others will look for further progress next year and judge the manager, players, chairman etc. on how we do progress. I still get the feeling that with your little comment in brackets, you’ve once again written him off already and its given you that little something of “I told you so” to fall back on if things go paps up next season. What a journey! It is Caldwell in the photo, a bout of lazy journalism already and the seasons only just friggin ended.
This typifies how much the media can be arsed researching our little club. The bugging thing is, its always negative never positive.
I wonder if the day will ever come when these lazy journalist report something like “Wigan Athletic have just signed Fred Bloggs who was attracted to the club by the fact they get 45,000 fans watching every home game”Totally bulshyte, inaccurate, but with a positive bias. :scared-eek:

What a journey!I can honestly see this lad having a bright EPL future. His biggest failings at the moment seem to be consistency and fitness.
I have noticed an improvement in the latter recently and with his heart condition, it may be something that the medical team are working on gradually. He often shows that bit of flamboyancy that gives me the impression he’s got something.
£8m is fek aw in the scheme of things these days, who would you get, perhaps someone like Keiron Richardson, Joey Barton, Glenn Whelan, Seb Larsson or some unproven championship player who had a good season last year.
i personally can’t get worked up about any of the above or similar players.
I totally disagree with your views on this and hope we keep this mon for at least another couple of seasons, then you might then be looking at £28m player.
