Contracts don’t mean jack shyte these days. They are there to be broken and we see this week in week out in football. There is also the small print that covers every eventuality that might arise to cover both parties.
I’ve just bought a new telly from Comet and was bored so read the terms and conditions.
Fek me I think I’ve just signed up to the foreign legion or summat!!

What a journey! The governor of Haiti has sent a special thankyou message to the fans of liverpool football club, for observing the 2 hour silence during the reading game the other night. :o

What a journey!Just been on SSN that Benitez is getting the chop and Liverpool are bringing in David Plunkett for £25m.
Apparently they want somebody in charge who is good at hanging on to a lead. 8-)From Matlock to ManU

What a journey!Never mind that, with these two signings has martinez admitted the spanish centre half is crp or maybe we are in for a shock with some outgoings. Can’t see us having 5 centre halves + scharner on the books. :oI believe Bobby wants 5 players in every position, thats a squad of 55. ;) Why would he want to admit the spanish centre half is crap?
To be fair to the lad he has played 2 games, scored the only goal for us against blackpool and was one of 3 players pushing for the MOM against Hull. From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!Boyce is not good enough and you cannot say that Boyce is a player with flair etc, as he has none of it.Just check the highlights for the last two seasons and see which one of the two have ballsed up more.
Lets wait and see what happens shall we.

What a journey!Caldwell has been playing regular for Celtic so has no fitness issues. He has trained with the team for 2 or 3 days so if he’s good enough get him straight into the team I say. As for his partner, I see him taking on the lead role, marking the oppos centre forward and being the one who shouts the odds for the back four, when to stay when to come out etc. I cannot see him pairing up with Bramble somehow. Boycie is quicker to respond, can pick up the darting runs from the quicker forwards or players bursting through from midfield. his decision making is better than Brambles and makes less gaffs.
Steve Gohouri will take a few weeks to get match fit but when he is, I can see him being in the heart of the defence doing what Boycie can do but with a bit more aggression and flair.
At that point I can see Boycie dropping into right back with Mario on the bench until the end of season when I think he will be released.
Couldn’t quite fit that on the back of a post card Griff but there you have it.

Come on? Really? You’re complimenting boyce and not Bramble, Boycie is nowhere near good enough for the prem and Bramble is clearly our best defender, why cant you see him pairing up with Bramble? when thats CLEARLY whats going to happen if Caldwells in from the start. I also cant see him dropping melchiot even though he should. Caldwell may not even start tomorrow, i think he may leave it the same.
Boyce has been one of our most consistant performers over the past few years and yes I actually think you can’t put two out and out centre halves in the same team.
All the great teams over the years have had one rough and ready player and one with a bit more speed, flair and can read the game.
Go back as far as say,Roy McFarland and Colin Todd and then up to date with John Terry and Ricardo Carvalho.
Whilst Bramble has come on leaps and bounds since joining us, he still loses concentration and for every 50 yard pass to Charlie, there are at least 5 that sail into touch. Boycie is the first name on the team sheet for me.

What a journey! Why did they and his team mates vote him player of the season then?

What a journey!Just to clarify that last post before I get red flagged. When watching youtube I also had ESPN Classics ont telly and they were showing this:-
Manchester United 2-1 Arsenal, Villa Park, 1999
Ryan Giggs’s mazy, magical wonder goal provided what was almost the iconic moment of the treble winning season, beating most of the Arsenal side in the last ever semi-final replay to send Sir Alex Ferguson’s side to the final.
