Ha ha ha! Yes relegations!
I did have my regulation quantity of booze following our win.
Now where’s Lostock Hall with his wine selection?
Well Phil, the selection was easy :-
Passo Del Sud Appassimento, from Puglia Italy.
It is what you may refer to as a small boutique wine with a powerful finish; just like the Latics then
Thought that all our players put a good shift bin today !
Max Power, MoM for me; followed by Keane & Lang.
New lad from the Barcodes, didn’t put a foot wrong.
Whatmough looked like an ever present. Was impressed with Amos; he is certainly no Dracula !
Think the new Chairman had a top day !!!!!!
Another day, another blank !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Not arrived in Lostock Hall, either
At least your new season Latics shirt is sorted
Our last chairman that was a tad outspoken & controversial, didn’t do too bad for us !!!
Did the ref have a Chinese bet riding on the game, to bolster his pension pot
Stay up with the Phoenix Tics ! Stay up with the Phoenix Tics !
Quite fancy us getting a draw at Hull next Saturday !
Is that a new addition to the cellar LHL or a vintage where the dust has to be blown off.
Yes I’m road testing a wide variety of wines; ready for when you and your Peg can visit and sample my efforts from the wood fired oven !
Up the Phoenix Tics !!!!!!
I still think “what a difference a pitch makes” !
Will celebrate with a glass of red rom the Puglia region of Italy, made by the Appassimento method
I can envisage the final page of the script now: only a win against Swindon on the last day of the season will save our League 1 status. Well, we are the Latics, who don’t do easy !
Hope I’m wrong, but I wouldn’t back against it.
Yes, Super Stu, please keep up.
You will find that a few scoops of Aglianico (a grape variety which is predominantley from Italy) helps your awareness and concentration during a match
Horrible team to play. Very physical and we never got to grips with it. Also think neither ref made an attempt to cut it out. We weren’t up to speed and easily muscled out of it.
Back to the drawing board.
Even that brilliant photograph cheered me up no end.
What a great team that was !!!
Bring those glorious days back again !!! -
