A damn site better than that sh1t – tip that was Roker Park. No need for the Giros to stand outside there as they could just climb through the pathetic tin fencing behind the Shevington mud-bank end.
Where can I buy one?
(Maybe the Pravda-style editing will not happen for a couple of hours)
Would you lot say Lee cattermole has gone on to better things…I really wouldn’tCurrently playing in front of 40,000+ in a top half side that takes points from Liverpool and Man Utd, playing for a manager who is proven at this level, with an owner willing to put his money into the club.
Yes, I’d say Mr Cattermole is quite happy, injury apart.
Good luck to emile in the future, but can anyone tell me a player who has left wigan and gone on to better things?I can only think of wilson palacios And before anyone says valencia he,s not exactly setting the world on fire at man utd.
Is that the best you can do? What about:
Joe Hinnigan
Paul Jewell
Kevin Langley
David Lowe
Steve Walsh
Mike Newell
Alex Cribley (I think)8 October 2009 at 12:17 pm in reply to: It looks like both clubs are struggling to get bums on seats #10339We had 11k for our only semi final, so we can’t talk. At home too :shock:Wiganers eh
7 October 2009 at 12:45 pm in reply to: It looks like both clubs are struggling to get bums on seats #10310I think we could see the first 20,000+ crowd at the DW on Sunday:
5000 City fans in the North Stand
2000 City fans elsewhere in the ground.
2000 from http://www.wiganlatics.co.uk/page/Junio … 27,00.html in the South Stand11000 others.
(Cue the “its more than the eggs got” retorts)
The town will turn Blue on 18 Oct, thats for sure.

Best get one quick Bath Latic – there’s only 1324 been allocated to Wigan.
it seems to work as well as the one in afghanistanWe dont spend all our time fighting wars – in case you missed it, the Harrier aircraft was brought back from Afghanistan in July.
Obviously in the transition to the new board, you missed my proof of what I do for a living…..

Now I believe there was a statement from you about showing your a rse by the river douglas whilst wearing a Warriors shirt if I proved what I said I did for a living….
Over to you…
Cock
proved to be just that and the reason why this manager will take the club to the championship next may.
Not seen thee ont board since we lost too Aresnal 8-) [/quote]
Tha wi-fi on the M62s working well toneet owd lad.
Losing in a semi is never great, but personally I’d rather lose in a semi than not even get to a semi. And also lose a close game in a semi than get to a final and be thrashed, which is what Leeds would have done to Wigan.
Looks like there was another fantastic turn-out at the KC yesterday – I guess most of your travelling thousands from last season’s trip to Hull had some place better to be….
Christ what a useful contribution you’ve provided – proper keyboard
warrior eh?
Must go to bed now as you have almost bored me to sleep with that riveting post.

Certainly went down well on the Sunderland message board I post on and will, in all probability be an away end sellout, despite our fixture being midweek in February. Hopefully it will get those who cite £35 a ticket on here as a reason to not travel off their backsides and on a coach down to Fratton Park.
Enjoy the game!
and of course violence never occurs on the field in a youth soccer game…
On 7 Mar 2009, they beat Celtic in the Quarter Final of the Scottish Cup. This was 7 days after they lost 0-7 to Celtic.
For a club of St Mirren’s size to beat a club of Celtic’s size is some achievement – you would think that such a result would put the club and the area on the map.
As it took over 12 hours for a correct response, it appears that such a monumental result didnt register in Wigan, let alone Holland, Germany, South Korea or Easter Island.
Now, whilst I understand that you beating Chelsea is a cracking result, does it really put the football club on the World map so that the name of Wigan Athletic is now on the lips of Koi-Toi Wok in Seoul? I would argue that the 1-0 win at Stamford Bridge when Tommy Gore scored, or even the 4-2 win in the league cup were far more “earth-shattering” results.
Just putting things into perspective. You got 3 points for Saturday, just as you did for beating West Ham. Same as you’ll get for turning over Fake Tan’s Hull side.
Again – well done though. Its always nice to see Chelsea lose!
Without checking on a map, can anyone tell me where in Scotland St Mirren is?
