Cone was my nickname for a couple of months when I was at uni in Sheffield because not only do I resemble one I had a habit of stealing every cone I found. I also had a fantastic goal return in La Liga last season but I don’t bang on about it much.

I’d like to give a big congratulations to Latics, splendid display, I am sure you will build on this and not be in the same position next season, this is coming from a Rugby fan, you have done the town proud.

Town full of Rugby fans, Yes
Town full of football fans, Yes.

Stop having such a small town attitude.

The Coral are the best and most musically interesting British band of the past decade, it should be The Courteeners supporting them. I am going to go to the Arctic Monkeys gig at Don Valley instead. In an ideal world Richard Ashcroft would play at Haigh.

Aye they are decent, it’s about time there was a guitar revival, This lot are much better than the other hype band Brother. I’d check out a band called Mona, they are the ones to watch

Should be no problem, a couple of short term deals, I doubt there will be anything dodgy going on unlike their previous club.

I reckon we would be safer with 4-4-2 and cutting out the silly nonsense.

Hating a club from a different sport shows how backwards some Wigan Athletic fans are, no wonder takes us seriously.

Chip on the shoulder much? Nearly every town in is a football town due to it being the national sport. Rugby League is one of the alternatives and it is very much part of the the culture and identity of the town partly due it not being a “clone town” in the footballing sense. We should save our insults for the likes of Preston and Bolton really.
