As I previously stated
It’s quality, not quantity
It seems you have an obsession with replying to every thread on the forum
You must have some form of self worship, or maybe just get excited at seeing your handle on the end of every thread
I however, am bored with you now
Enjoy your self worship, and stock up on the Kleenex, for when the excitement becomes too much and you have an accident in the groin department

Do you have a strongpoint?

I do , willpower
My mum toldme never to argue with an idiot , stood me in good stead over the last forty odd years, and I’m not starting now ;-)

Maths is not my strongpoint

If we get McClean back on his wing and give Cosgrove some support with another striker playing behind him or beside him with some hard work from midfield we will be putting it to bed.

There’s more chance of plaiting snot than him playing
He’s giving him the 1st team match day experience and nothing more

I leave all that to my agent……

Griff

Lights blue touch paper and stands back
Not really. If he is nobbing off, that’s good enough for me ;)
Just the one grafted to his forehead

Nothing’s changed?

Nothing’s changed? Well, the transfer window is open which it wasn’t before. And we’ve shifted out one shit striker already with just one more to go now ;)
If a player scores on a regular basis for the development squad but supposedly doesn’t impress his manager in training, thus not getting a regular start in the first team, then my question has to be what is the point of the development squad? The manager has more or less stuck to the same line up/ formation for a few games now with a modicum of success ( One win away to a decent side ) but on the whole it just hasn’t worked and so one must question his stubborness! On the odd occasion that Fortuné and Riera have found themselves on the pitch at the same time we actually looked threatening and so my final question must be, why have they not been used from the start? To me it is a no brainer but alas I am not the manager!

Which was pretty much my point
Baffling

How the feck can you blame the players over keep selecting the same players I.e Fortune who isn’t good enough to play, we have seen no plan B, in fact we have, he played no strikers.
How can you say lads aren’t good enough when we haven’t seen them play.
Bolton played a 19yo who destroyed us yesterday. We played nobody different apart from Ali who had a blinder.

Nobody is blaming Whelan about our success merely pointing out where we have probably gone wrong.

No hindsight on my part over McLaren, most people on here didn’t want him and would rather point to his wally with the brolly reputation.

Right now those same people are waiting for this clueless clown to bring in his cloggers to save us. Can’t feckin wait. Same formation, shite football, scraping a survival at best, even Brighton have turned a corner now with a new man. We are the only team to appoint someone and be failing badly.

There wasn’t much wrong with the original post, it was all pretty much a factual assessment, which some of you don’t want to see for some reason.

We live in a democracy, and this is a forum or a place to debate and air you’re views isn’t it? ;-)
We are all entitled to share/ air our views and opinions, but we all have a common love of our fantastic club
A short time ago in football terms I was stood in the cowshed watching away fans sliding down a mudbank
Remember how far we have come and it can’t all be rosy, but we will overcome this temporary blip and rise again, do you know why? Because we are little wigan, taking the piss
It’s time to batton down the hatches, stick together and do what we do best, confound the odds and rise again.

Well said big Roy
Wait till malky has a chance to bring in/ work with his own players
He inherited a squad , some of which either don’t want to or shouldn’t be here for various reasons
Let him shape his own squad, it’s way too early to judge the man
As wigan fans, we have seen a phenomenal rise and the dream is not over, we’re just having a temporary nightmare
Keep the faith, new year, new start
This window will be very interesting

Play offs
Delort and holt will get 30 between em
Just off to the bar, its my round
I dont think afternnon sessions cloud my judgement in the least :-)

Exactly my point, spending millions without giving the lad a chance to me is madness
I will be the first to eat humble pie,but give him a chance with a run of games first!

in reply to: Brucey or Bobby #137150

Neither
Both are a judas

in reply to: Just sack him #137124

Nowt to do with the players – who can play under these formations and tactics – disgusting to set up like that today at home against them men

Are you having a laugh. This must be the poorest team we have had in 15 years. The manager has inherited shit players like it or not. Was it his fault that Taylor gave the first goal away. Yeah I’m pissed that we start with McLean up front but I’m pissed of when we start with most of the players now. How can Maloney play his heart out for Scotland and be so shit for us. The players could not string 5 passes together today and that is nowt to do with the manager. This season to me it looks as if they can’t be arsed and that is bang out of order for the paying fans. If anyone should be sacked it’s all the back room staff and most of the team.
Spot on – Apart from the fact ( on paper) we have a strong squad.
Something is wrong behind closed doors.
