So come on then all you lot who are slagging JM off. How many of you were fans of Maradona ? One of the biggest pieces of shit ever to put boots on but all was forgiven because of his talent. There has been many many players down the years who were not very nice people but had a great career in the game. If JM has a blinding season and scores shit loads of goals he will have done the job he is paid to do. Let’s see what happens. COYL

Am fillin up me, great post marrer.
It wouldnt really matter to me what colour the seats were if it wasnt affecting the gypos. But after putting up with their bile for the last 40 odd years and the constant degrading of our club by gobshites who watch from the pub they can swivel. Get the poxy seats out asap and while were at it stop playing in feckin red away from home. Either red or black for years. Get more creative colour wise next season. And to show there are no hard feelings between the clubs let’s do our best to find them a new home, Sydney or Melbourne would be nice.
Horwich have blue and red seats I’m sure they will feel at home there. Wishful thinking I know.

Cheers Mutt these are certainly strange times
C,mon CW, Sunderland are a great club with a fabulous fan base and if our club was acting the way they seem to be we would all be asking serious questions. Something is wrong up there no doubt and even you must find it strange.
Mutt 21000 season tickets is amazing at any club and we can only dream about selling that kind of numbers. Your crowds have always been superb and should be for the population of the area and only 2 clubs of note. But when are folk going to realise that crowd sizes win fook all. Why are you still in league 1 why do the barcodes never win a thing?. I think I will stick with our history small crowds massive trophy cabinet. But if Sunderland dont walk this league with these mega rich owners they have then even you must admit that your enormous crowds are not worth a light.
Or his wages have been paid with the money the EFL owed us for the last 2 seasons mutt. Either way the owners are gonna have a budget they are happy with and will stick to it. He is still on a fraction of what McGeady is getting
Humphreys in yipeeeeeeeee
Brickin it tbh. Italy will love playing against our methodic slow build up. The speed in which they attack is also going to cause us a whole load of problems and I must admit I’m not full of confidence. I also dont get why Foden and Grealish dont start and let’s get at teams from the off. Southgate will stick with his safety first attitude which I dont think will work against the Italians. God I hope I’m wrong.
We haven’t spent a penny Phoenix apart from the players contract and I’m sure the owners know their budget and will stick to it. We wont get lumbered with a 19 million pound wage bill again you can bet your life on that. Fact is we need to sign players but swap quality for quantity. Last season showed we can bring in lads from the development squad if and when needed so I reckon the plan is to build a small but high quality first team squad and back it up with our youngsters . Keeping the wage bill down but having a forceful side as well. COYL
We can get to the final but the Danes wont be easy.
