” your just crewe with a bit more cash ” lmfao
Without clicking the link and reading just this quote, I’m guessing that they’re using the old uneducated comments that we bought our way to the Premier League despite spending far less than the clubs around us and spending less than £3m after promotion from the 2nd division to the Championship?
The usual gumpf, that we can’t fill our stadium, oh & we’re also a rugby town….Yawn.
’I know how these things work, but I’m not getting involved in a slanging match,’ he said. ‘All I will say is: How did Vic end up at Wigan, when he could have gone to Manchester City? Who took him to Wigan?‘I’ve got a great relationship with Wigan, going back to Damien Francis, Nathan Ellington and Vic. They’re a great club to deal with.’
Victor if you need an example of what Whelan is trying to tell you then please refer to Nathan Ellington who quite frankly at the top of his game was twice the forward you are and now could not hit a cows arse with a banjo because he made the wrong move at the wrong time in his career.
Clicked on that link & read ead some of the quotes on that messageboard, unbelievable! Slagging us off as a club, slagging Whelan off too…Guy from Wigan talks sense & get’s shed loads of red arrows
Hey, you can’t say that! it’s racist…then again…
Perhaps a chance for us now to attract new fans from the local areas??Just a thought, but there must be people who just want to watch Premiership football and at our prices who can grumble?
Why would people from Blackburn or Bolton want to watch Wigan? If Wigan had’ve been relegated & they hadn’t, would you go to watch either of those teams in the Prem? Stupid idea. :silly:
The way to do it Nuneaton is to walk in slowly, very slowly with fists on your hips puff your chest up and don’t forget to stick your chin out and look down on the doubters slowly, very slowly then shake your head. And remember son, the day is yours, you’ve paid for it.
Do i like that, class.. goodpost
Fair do’s to Neville, seems to like Wigan probably because we were a small team once like Bury. At least he HAS played at the top level unlike the garlic cruncher.
its very rare i have a good feeling about us lately, but today is as confident as ive been all season…the last time in fact was our last home win over q.p.rso here goes..we WILL win today..2-0
You a Swansea fan then mate…
I actually can not believe that nobody as picked up on the piss poor commentary on match of the day last Saturday. The commentator said Al Habsi pulled of a wonderful save who is on loan from Bolton Wanderers. It was almost like he was sucked into a worm hole from last season. PISS POOR BY THE COMMENTATOR?. do the powers that be pull these people up for their glaring mistakes? it almost makes me think that I Imagined him saying that? does somebody have MOTD recorded on here who can back up what i heard. I WAS NOT STONED OR DRUNK AS WELL.I can’t believe noone has said anything about the post match analysis of our game on MOTD or lack of it! They said nothing of our performance & started talking about Yakubu & Blackburn staying up!!!Unbelievable!!!
Yes, it’s over i’d say. They players we have got are simply not good enough. That’s my opinion anyway.
Or a centre half who doesn’t think he is playing volley ball !!He’s a liability.
it annoys me when people put loads of pictures of there babies on facebook and never shut up about there babies, i promptly delete them but its still a nuisance.Never mind Facebook,It’s people on here who can’t spell that annoy me. It’s “THEIR” babies not “THERE” babies. Good grief man, it’s basic English.
Like i won’t clap N’Zogbia when he comes to the DW, He’s an ex player, end of.
Zoggy owes this club nothing with what he did for us last season. When he spat the dummy out he could have gone the opposite way and thought f@@k it but he rolled his sleeves up and got on with it, i for one will clap this mon
What? if he scores the winner for Villa? Likewise when Barlow came back and scored against us people applauded & we ended up losing. I don’t fookin think so. Alright, i loved him when he was here & what he did for us, BUT, he is a Villa player now, move on people, no sentiments in football in my view anyway.
if he scores he scores, that is what he is paid to do but he should still be shown some respect for what he did. Jason roberts has scored against us dosent celebrate and still has the respect of the wigan faithfull
didn’t say i don’t respect him for what he did, he was a great player for us no doubt about it & wish he was still a Wigan player but he isn’t, he’s moved on & so should we, even if he celebrates or not IF he scores against us, that doesn’t matter to me, i still won’t applaud him & why should i? Points & Wigan winning is all that matters is it not? that’s my view anyway.Like i won’t clap N’Zogbia when he comes to the DW, He’s an ex player, end of.
