Believe everything you read on the internet these days?

After a 30 second Google search:
Paramore, Emo’s great hopes attempt to expand their sound. They blow it. If you just so happen to be one of the best in the up-tempo pop-smattered emo-punk game, why bother slowing down?
      NME

      Incorrect

Paramore’s second album is a depressing malaise of generic punk pop set to anodise the kids into complicit dullardness.
      Drowned In Sound

Punk pop – more towards the truth.

Paramore: With these punk bands burning bright and dying fast, the music transformed rapidly; emo has gone through enough twists and evolutions during its lifespan to fill a history twice as long.
      Stylus Magazine

      Any proof of this ’emo’?

Tennessee pop-punks Paramore have announced two Irish dates this summer.
The band will play Belfast’s Kings Hall on June 22 and will support Green Day at Dublin’s Marlay Park on June 23.
      Kerrang

Pop punk again, again liking them to green day is totally wrong. Just because they play on the same tour as them doesnt make them the same type of genre.

On Friday (January 11), organizers announced that My Chemical Romance and the All-American Rejects will top the bill at the Bamboozle Left, along with previously announced headliners Paramore.

Let’s make this simple shall we, Download festival 2003, main stage saturday, Iron Maiden after Iron Maiden – Marilyn Manson, also on the stage, Funeral for a friend. So under your assumption Iron Maiden = Funeral for a Friend.

I’d say I was correct. Squawk.

I’d sooner take information from their own website than anybody elses. ;)

      Genre : Alternative.

Paramore: words use to describe their genre are ‘emo’ and ‘new punk’, and they are linked to bands like My Chemical Romance and Green Day.

        Incorrect.

Ever since our rise from the lower leagues the lodgers have claimed that supporters from other clubs have jumped on the bandwagon jcls if you will.
In my opinion the more success you have the more supporters you attract and this is what is happening to the lodgers at the moment.
You had some of that lot when they tore down Central park (Averageing 15000 in the succesfull years btw ) saying they would never set foot in the JJB /DW stadium “we’ve sold our sole to that Maurice ” they cried “He’s getting non of my money ” was another .

And so they entered into a ground sharing with the football club or should I say dragged and kicked into it the first few years proved to be unsuccesfull for the eggies as proved with there average attendance’s of 10000 .

Fast forward ten years and a little sniff of a hubcap trophy and all is forgotten the chubsters are now back to there 15000 average of Central Park days shouting from the rooftops getum onside we are the best .
But as us tics know they can’t do this without the odd sweetner sometimes it’s giving whole stands away disguised as partnerships with Heinz/ Worthingtons or giving a bundle away six games for £30 .

But one thing will always stand out when we want an home game on a Saturday we will have a home game on a Saturday so move along Chubbies thats a good lot do as your told and all will be well

Of course success brings the fans in. Latics are the main proof of this.

We were averaging just over 6.5k in league two. Jumping a couple of thousand into league one and then a couple more thousand in the Championship. Then 6k fans on top in the premiership. Were did these 6 thousand fans come from? More importantly if we were to get relegated would they disappear again.

The main reasons I think the attendances have improved this year is how well they have been marketed. At least 4/5 games this season have been heavily marketed. Latics did the same for a three(?) game spell. Friends for a quid etc. They need move of this and attendances will of course improve.

Interestingly the two highest average attendances for the past 10(?) years for WW were the season they nearly got relegated and the season after.

The highest for latics was the first season in the premiership suprisingly.

                they are absolute rubbish.

they are just another American version of McFly or Busted aimed at teens, only with a female singer. If you are over 25 and appreciate these id be worried.

                Opinion, not fact.

How you can compare McFly and/or Busted to Paramore shows you know nothing.

My son wants tickets for this band anyone know owt about them ?

There is no ‘s’ on the end if you want to search for them on the net. They are actually one of my favourite bands. Hayley Williams is the lead singer. Very fit too. Know nothing about the topless one but I would very much LOVE to see that![/quote]
Show you when you get home

Paramore are a class act. Their live singing is just as good as there recorded albums, which is a rarity these days.

O and yes the lead singer is quite something. :P

For a local derby, against rivals from just up the road,

tickets less than 20 dabs, and loads of `freebies`………..

Mickey Mouse sport,Mickey Mouse fans,Mickey Mouse club!

                    Lovely!

                    Obsessed.

It’s only about a thousand worse than we would get with the same away support ( about 100-150). So I don’t know how you could call it pathetic really. Considering this is a football board, there sure are alot of threads about the rugby.

PS – We give freebies away alot of the time, care to show me any proof of freebies for the match you are talking about?
