They sure do, but Latics don’t dress these things up as something they aren’t, which you could argue we should!
It also helps when the rugby play so few home games, meaning half a dozen or so of these promotions can have a dramatic effect on the average crowd.
It’s all smoke and mirrors.
Or that the rugby suffers because rugby supporters don’t travel in numbers. Less away fans lowers your average attendance.
Jason Scotland??
forgeet mention afew boos off at the end and quite a few walking off on 70 minutes
Did you go or just listen on the radio?
 Your grasp of English is astounding flower.
Did I what? There are two options there.Pembertonian….the WRLFC “making up attendances dept” has been up and running for a number of years now…..sadly the mighty Tics have been using them recently as well.If you don’t believe me about their gates, didn’t they once declare a Super League record of 24,000+ when there were empty seat AOTS?
You seem to know plenty about them. You tell me.

They declared something like 19K didn’t they? Take 2,000 off that minus 4,000 freebies and you’re left with 13,000……they’d won nearly every game and the stadium is half empty….rugby town my a**eSporting Life has it at 18,605.
Why take 2,000 off?Agreed!!!!! :?And on that bombshell, I’m going for a lie down.
It seems Wigan Ath and Wigan rugby both have idiots, i took 3 of my kids to Birmingham and was disgusted with some of our fans behaviour, but some of the Birmingham fans where terrible, apart from the lad who bought me a beer in the cricketers! :DExactly. I’d say it was more of a Wigan problem than rugby or football.

You’re right. You’re spelling is pretty bad, but I’ve seen worse. I’d be more bothered about my punctuation if I were you.You said According to that link kindly supplied by blue ‘I’m not a peanut hugger honest guv!’ non, it was four or five kids from Worlsey Hall who couldn’t take their ale. The ring leader got left in Bradford and was heard crying down the phone for his mum to come and pick him up.Why are you changing your story?
And with regards to editing posts my spelling is awful and i recheck my posts!
Thanks for the reminder.
Yes according to the link it was a few kids who couldn’t handle their ale as I said. I added the Worsley Hall bit as that is what I was told this morning. I then added some information which was given to me by a friend this morning that the kiddie in question was overheard crying down the phone asking to be picked up.
Any more? I’m not off to bed just yet and there’s nothing decent on television.Nice edit.
The being overheard crying down his phone and them being from Worsley Hall was what I was told this morning.Did i edit any of your posts or did i edit my posts?
Yours.
It wasn’t an implication. I was told by someone the kids were from Worsley Hall. I believe said person.
Next.Nice edit.
