Some recent tweets by Roman…

Regarding manager issue, I have that feeling whoever comes will do great. Supporters, remember, the mastermind is Whelan, nobody else.

All the best Roberto Martinez on his new job. Wearing FACUP lucky suit btw. #GreatMemories pic.twitter.com/SiOzdvIQ77

Alistair Tomlinson @PutifarGolobart sad but a very good manager.

Román Golobart ‏@PutifarGolobart

Not that sad, he just happens to love that suit!

At least they spelt Wembley right, Everton spelt it wrong last year.

I would miss the guy for his funny tweets alone.

If Holloway was planning to offer him a place in the 1st team then he could be offering PL 1st team wages… Albeit at the lower end.

I doubt any of the players who have an offer of contract will be eager to sign anything until a new manager is named.

All the more reason for Big Dave to make haste.

I hope that when I am doing a prolonged wind up it is at least a little bit witty and I dont just crash and burn like this Rodger fella…

I thought Boselli was out of contract too, so surprised to see him retained.
Does that explain why we loaned him out rather than cash in on him before he did a Bosman?

I thought that too but apparently he was on a four year contract from the off…

Not as eager as everone else to hang Boselli out to dry, he obviously knows where the onion bag is and could find his feet in the championship under a new manager and style of play.

That being said if the new manager doesnt think he can utilise him as Martinez had failed to do so then its probably best to move him on asap as I imagine he will be near the top of our earners list.

Selling Maloney and Macmanaman to fund our promotion push ???? What a load of cack .Lose two great assets for say 10 mill…Whelan spends say 6 of that on 5 or 6 average joes.We really would need a new Messiah to get us back up . Imperative for me that he does his best to retain them and give the new manager some quality ammunition to work with . I’ve nailed my colours to the mast and had an investment on K Robinson to take over albeit the signs are today that the United man with the long name is looking good.

I wouldn’t like them to go and would expect at least 15 million for the pair considering they have long contracts.

But if we are switching to 442 next year and they are to become old school wingers we would be better with the money imo.

Both have shown they operate best as part of a front three especially Maloney in the ‘messi’ role.

you’ve put all there names wrong way round fist names last and last names first is it code or something

Blame the Daily Mail….

If we could keep Alcaraz and Golobart that would represent a cracking bit of business.

We all know the effect Alcaraz had on our performances last season and a lot of people were impressed with Golobart.

You only have to ask the Inverness fans to know that Roman is one we want to keep.

After a terrible debut for them which he was at fault for a goal he went on to win 9 man of the matches and their player of the season.

One Inverness fan also pointed out in an article the other day that Golobart has more FA cup medals than Van Persie.

Crusat, Domene Albert – Shame it didnt work out for him but it was always going to be a tall order.
Aylmer, Peter – Aylmer get me coat after that last joke..
Di Santo, Franco – Would be happy to have him around on the bench but just too unreliable for my liking.
Jones, David Frank Llwyd – Did a job for us and will probably be playing against us for the chicken grabbers next season.
Lopez, Rodriguez Adrian – A shame it didnt work out for him hopefully that Piscu lad will do better.
Lynch, Jonathan Paul – WHO?
Morris, Callum Neil – nope
Orsula, Filip – Just a one year contract? hmmm
Stam, Ronnie Theodorous – I am having a party to celebrate this one tonight.
Sumner, Joshua Andre – nope
Watson, Ryan – Bens relation?

It’s definitely not, it’s Yosser. He told us that right from the off, unless I’m mistaken

Correct.

Plus Dave talks much more sense.

Bert Crusat !

I think he is one on his way for sure…

Its a shame really alot of people will think of him as a terrible signing and not big enough to play in England but he did have a couple of good performances that spring to mind.

Just a shame injuries meant he never really played any part in his time here.

in reply to: Sorry ……. #115585

Nicely put Owd_git.

I am going to give Yosser the benefit of the doubt and assume he is on a wind up.

Pretty sure he would of been a bit busy traveling home with the cup and squad to stop of for a coffee with Kenwright.

so you know for sure he was on the coach, there is a shuttle flight from london to manchester,or get this he may of even travelled back in uncle daves chopper the next morning ;)
No, but I am applying a bit of common sense to the situation.

Do you know for sure he was not on the coach?
No i havent, but i am sure if a better job was in the pipe line, and was asked to go and see my new employer i could make other arrangements to get back to wigan, same as whelan in jersey may be speaking to people over there
Have you heard the one about Paul Mccartney dying in a car crash and being replaced with someone who won a lookalike competition?

Its right up your street Ace ;)
