I didnt think McCarthy had a great game yesterday and struggled to create anything really.
But he was no worse than anyone else bar Alcaraz and in all fairness we struggled to break them down as a team.
We always seem to struggle against teams that sit deep as it generally takes us a bucket load of chances in the final third to put one away and we are terrible when teams hit us on the break of which both seemed to go against us once they went down to 10 men.
All that money they have spent might not keep them up but what a bucket load of money does buy you is magical moments e.g. the finish from Remy.
I dont get why people are speaking of them in the same light as Derby’s PL adventure as you only have to look at the team sheet and see the likes of Remy and Cesar to know that is not the case.
Still no panic buttons for me and I am more than confident that we will survive.
If it means it goes to the last game vs Aston Villa then so be it.
Although I am probably 1 more last day survival away from a heart attack if truth be told.

Gomez’s passing was awful giving the ball away a number of times.
Still there were plenty of positives to take from this game and I think if Zamora hadn’t been sent off it would of been an easy win.
Not using it as an excuse but once they put 9 men behind the ball and tried to hit us on the break via Townsend they caused us far more problems than when they had 11 men on the pitch.
No positive spin from Martinez to give anyone on here ammo he was deservedly unhappy and according to Maloney expressed that at half time.

As anyone asked the ticket office or more importantly Sir Dave Whelan….Why a previous buying history with the club is needed!? How the hell do we expect to attract NEW supporters if they won’t sell them a ticket!? This is pure maddnes and a good opportunity missed. ….How can the NEW supporters get on the database if they won’t sell them a ticket!????Yeah I text Dave and he didnt reply the ignorant sod!!
No in all seriousness though how many potential new fans could we realistically atrract via a trip to wembley who have never purchased or know someone who has purchased a ticket at some point in the past 8 years?
I think Moizzy is the acception and not the rule unfortunately.
However if it was down to me as long as Milwall had tickets left in all price brackets I would then allow them to be sold to people off the database once all ST holders and databasers had their opporunity to purchase. ( on second thoughts I probably wouldnt as going off Milwalls reputation I bet they have their fair share of banned supporters who could use this to cause trouble)
