I think the problem with this league is that there are quite a few players who have played in the PL and “know the ropes”, but the referees haven’t refereed at that level and just aren’t up to that level (that’s why they are reffing the Football league).
I’m not sure there’s an easy answer to it – it’s just an observation.
Going to the game yesterday passed Ramis heading away from the ground outside Jamal’s around 2 o’clock. Didn’t look at all happy.
I don’t mind players on loan as long as they know where the back of the net is !We could go for De Gea.
He knows where the back of the net is – he’s in there often enough picking the ball up.
Oh yes, Nuneaton, Revie was obnoxious too.

I thought it was just me that thought he was an obnoxious, rude, self-opinionated buffoon.
I think he would have been disastrous for England (although I suppose he couldn’t have done any worse), in the way that anyone who isn’t manager is the greatest thing ever – until they get the job (Keegan, Taylor, Erikson, and now Hodgson). Everyone knows ‘arry would be great – don’t they?
No, he had success certainly, but that doesn’t make Clough a nice person.

One thing that has probably not crossed Mutley’s bitter brain is the reason we set the lowest post war attendance record for a team defending the cup may well have something to do with the fact that Wigan are the smallest town club to win the FA cup since the war.
