City sent an Argentine sub on Monday
Back on topic ;)
“Even the figure sold compares favourably with the numbers Super League giants Wigan Warriors could expect to sell for a Challenge Cup final.”
Shamelessly stickied :)
1953 Matthews was man of the match and chaired off, but poor Stan Mortensen scored a hat trick!
Oi!!
It is worrying that he Millwall message boards are reporting this as 10,000 more tickets being given to them
^ your reet, read it wrong. Boooooo to me.To be honest, it’s not unusual for the Mail to rewrite their articles. It may well have said that to begin with. ;)
According to mail online, we haven’t sold 10,000 yet.YYYYYAAAWWWWWWNNNN
I’m no apologist for the Mail but they actually say we haven’t sold 10,000 “of our allocation”. In other words we have sold over 20,000 – far more tha our average home attendance.
Please don’t fall into their trap of misreporting.
It actually says wigan have sold less than 10,000. Go and read it, mail on line, ill put a link on when I find it
“Wigan’s ticket sales have so far not sold 10,000 of their 31,000 allocation”
20,000 will be fantastic, watched the jpt final with only 10,000 Crewe there, they were loud, 20,000 Wiganers will be a lot louder“Wigan’s ticket sales have so far not sold 10,000 of their 31,000 allocation”
much better this way, more variation not the same posters spamming us all the timeJust because there are more people logged in doesn’t mean there are more people ;)
All this will do is create animosity between fans, Millwall will be silent and i think 95% of the Wigan fans will probably sing and cheer. Turning into the Millwall fans booing us. Then the Wigan name will look bad in the press….And why do you think Millwall fans would respect a silence?

I couldn’t give a flying what the media anybody else is saying. The simple facts are that
a) The semi should not be at Wembley
b) Ridiculous K.O time, considering the transport problems
c) Cost, considering theres’s every chance of returning, average folk just can’t afford two trips. I will only be able to afford one trip, which i hope is he final fingers crossed.
d) Wembley is on Millbrawl’s doorstep. No wonder they’ve sold their tickets. Its easy for hangers on to travel. It would be like a day trip to Bury market for us.
e) The F.A give sweet F.A about all of the above :angry:Its the same for every other club too. Just us who seem to have a problem getting fans down there.
a)they are at Wembley and everyone knew before third round.
b)ko time should not matter,if you really want to go.transport to London anytime is awful.
c)all 4 teams involved could return again,as has been said before, stoke sold out.they had to return again.
d)it’s easy for anyone to travel anywhere if they want to.newcastle fans to Russia on a Thursday night.
e)very truegod help us if we do get in Europe.like to see the bleating on here and from those not going to semi final, for reasons they have stated, if we have to travel to Kazakhstan on a Thursday night.no trains back from there either.
You are on a wind up, aren’t you?
If you’d gone to the event last night you may have got the same impression as I did – that we are talking no change.

If DW says wear them I suspect they will.
