Southampton are doing exactly what we did last season and good luck to them.
What? Winning in February? I don’t think so …. ;)
So our draw with Southampton last week doesn’t seem quite so cataclysmic, does it?
Nathan Ellington’s goal v Reading
Better than Paul Jewell but not as good as Steve Bruce

And before people get too worked up over this, it is hugely unscientific – just a bit of fun
Ah Garswood i was just reading this myself funny enough.
How do you know it was better than Paul Jewellio’s record[/quote]Because Paul Jewell is number 115
It’s only this season
This thread will get moved as someone else referred to previouslyDone :)
Liverpool would never be involved in dodgy stuff.
I’ll believe that matches are fixed when you get a result like England beating Brazil.
Now that would be dodgy.
I’m better than Ronnie Stam ;)
Never heard of him, never seen him play, without a club is dodgy at 33 but I can confidently say he’ll be better than Ronnie StamAnd if you read Standish’s post you’ll see he isn’t available – he DOES have a club
You honestly think that millionaire footballers would throw the biggest
club game in European football for a few extra quid?!Yep.
Always amuses me about the “Miracle of Istanbul” in 2005.
So Liverpool go three goals down in the first half, but then “miraculously” and “with inspired play” pull three back in the second half and win on penalties.
This all against a team that shortly afterwards was implicated in 2006 in all sorts of dodgy dealings of match fixing – that had been going on for some time. Needless to add that Berlusconi was the club owner.
But somehow the final was whiter than white.
Yep. I believe that.
Thats the one GL good work marrer, when we played Citeh in the FA Cup in 71 at Maine Rd we played in a white shirt with blue trim.Correct – another one from my colourised collection :)
Thing about the kit GL is that I became a fan in 69-70 and saw all our early triumphs in just blue and white. We didnt use stripes till 78 so contrary to what some think as far as im concerned our traditional colours are blue shirts. I know there are many who love stripes but for me the sight of Milne, Gillibrand, Worswick and co in blue is etched in my memories. Is this what you mean? It’s one I colourised a year or so back.

When do we pick up the tickets, and where? We booked a few weeks back.
The kit was miles better than the present one.Sorry dont like us in stripes.
You do realise people have been banned from the site for less ;)
