Id say diame is one of, if not our best player. He will be a cracker at almost any team he goes to
I must admit, I have never heard of a situation where a club in relegation trouble has left their best player on the bench for the final run in !! :)[/quote]
..and played better as a result ;)
No – they are actually pies.
By the way, be careful – the Polish word “pies” means “dog”.
My wife’s grandfather was horrified when they arrived in England and saw “Hot Pies” on sale
Could have been better than he was is I suppose my initial answer.
He looked quite good before he went off to the African Nations, but all things are relative and that was when we were playing badly, so my granny’s cat could possibly have looked good (and he’s been dead 30+ years). By the time he came back (Momo, not the cat) we had got our new system working and there was no place in it for him.
Technically fairly sound, but don’t expect more than 60 minutes out of him – by then he looks knackered.
Not the heart and soul man that Cattermole is, but far less likely to be sent off for a rash challenge, so better in that sense.
If he’d wanted to stay at Latics I’d have been happy to see him stay, which I suppose tells you all you need to know, but he has got a bit above himself thinking he’s better than he is. Allegedly was going to sign for Liverpool having had coversations with Dalglish. All that changed when Dalglish got the boot.
Sunderland seems a reasonable place for him (and I don’t mean anything more to that than a genuine belief).
Pierogi were our staple diet when we were there.
Savoury or sweet – we have a supply in our freezer – you can buy them in the Polish shop in Wigan Lane.

Rodgers to Liverpool
That’s twice Swansea’s manager has walked – they will not be happy little baa-lambs! :cheer:
Completely with JR on this one – the only thing he has slightly changed his mind on is that he was giving Roberto a week from coming back to make his mind up – but that was before it was known he had gone to Miami to speak with the owners.
No-one has ever said there will be a press conference tomorrow (at least no-one in a position to officially say so), and as said above DW has no wish to wait until LFC get round to making their minds up. He has a manager under contract and, although he is willing ot release him, he will not be messed about.
If LFC want him, then offer him the job and DW can get a new manager in quickly. If not, then let us get on with planning purchases for next season.
What’s the odds on there being a press conference?

“Not standing in your way” doesn’t always mean “giving you a helpful push”
You’re not going to tell me the last 7 seasons have all been a dream and our first game next season will be against Hartlepool?
It actually isn’t about whether Bobby goes or stays. DW knows that’s Bobby’s call – but what he is doing is getting the thing played out at his pace. If Bobby is going to go then he wants to know sooner rather than later.
It’s all about being in control – and the one thing Liverpool’s owners are and have been showing in a lot of ways is that they are amateurs at that game compared to DW.
Do keep up, JR! :)
I don’t know about clearwater – I wouldn’t give any credence to these reports
Very sad for their true supporters.
Nice stadium, but they perhaps should never have left Feethams.
