What do you expect on here? Wit and repartee?? ;)
I always make sure I’ve got a Mastercard as well – saves problems like this.
Place your bets as to which multi “a n other” is. :cheer:
:P
Oops. Fair enough.
I am sorry but I don’t have the history or knowledge of past posters from way back, so I can only pick my team based on my short time seeing the candidates in action.
It took be quite a while and sleepless hours, but here is my selection.1. JayT – Great initial distribution, kicking abilty quite good when needed.
2. Landgate – Gets up and down, decent work rate also a good left foot when things get out of hand and not afraid to put the boot in if needed.
3. Jrtfatfan – Snarling no nonsense defender, some brutal tackling at times, could control his winding opponents up though.
4. Mickey C (capt.) – Old school, says little but when he does he means it, what ever you do don’t get on the wrong side of him his bite is worse than his bark.
5. Nuneaton – Returned after a number of years with a top midlands outfit, solid if unspectacular team member, but a managers delight.
6. Standish – Cultured, intelligent and two footed ,when he speaks others listen
7. Arky – Drifts in and out, some baffling displays at times but every now and then has a cracker. Organises the team outings.
8. LMB – At times can inspire, but seems to prefer upsetting team harmony and causing chaos , then goes missing for long periods.
9. Griff – Typical target man, leads the line well at times, but doesn’t help and is often critical of lesser team members, like all main players, has a high opinion of himself leading to others taking potshots at him
10. Filmoss – Plays the support role to Griff and it shows, they have an understanding outside the board, sometimes when he steps out of his shadows he shows great promise.
11. Horc – Hard choice this one – could easily have been bickymon outspoken left wingers who criticise every aspect of the running of the club, but keep things ticking over and moving.I said earlier I really do think there is a place for an up and coming newbie like myself but modesty prevented me from including myself on this occasion.
Well I’m hurt
:cheer:
I found him disappointing when he did play. Always looked as though he had promise, but never seemed to actually perform.
I must agree. I used to watch the game next to the managers and the view is awful, and all of these managers who say “the ball was clearly out” or “that trip was in the box” are talking through their backsides.
It is probably one of the worst places to see how things are panning out.
But it’s every manager that does it, so we can’t blame RM for this one.
To say I’m worried about Mondays game is an understatement. What are you worried about? Although I predict a win, it would be very much against expectations. We expect nothing, so a loss is not a worry. As has been said above the game against QPR is more of a worry.
City game is actually light relief.
If we get tonked then it’s no more than is to be expected.
2-1 to us with two very late goals a la Arsenal a few seasons ago.
Well – why not? :cheer:
Cheers – will have a look
Yeah – just keep clicking.
“Obsolete Goose” is one. You can do them without a “seed” word too.
Some strikers here I believe we’re looking at after seeing them on YouTube
“Amish Tool” and “Farting Letter” were a couple of mine
God knows what he would do if he beat a team who weren’t struggling and fielded a full team.
But then again, that’s not likely to happen, is it Paulo?
