wouldn’t mind going to one of these. But with the euro’s finishing approx 4 week before olympics and the season also starting in august. Can’t see many big name players taking part. Especially english lads as they are the only home nation going to the euro’s next year. More than likely under 21 lads plus players like craig mickail smith, darren fletcher etc…..
In the main yes, they will be youngsters, but many future stars (Messi for instance last time) play for the opposing teams.
The 26 July at Old Trafford is a “double header” – 2 games for quite a reasonable price :)

The irony is of course is that FIFA’s intervention has politicised the matter.
But what do schools know? The education system’s done for anyway.
You only have to look at the standards of literacy on here.
I’m not normally a great one for this – I have mixed views to be honest. If people want to wear poppies then good, but we do sometimes have the Poppy Police.
BUT… as soon as Blatter says I can’t do something because it MIGHT offend someone else then I become the biggest supporter there is.
Or simpler, everyone hold up a poppy during the two minutes’ silence.

Antolin Alcaraz has accepted the FA’s misconduct charge for spitting following the incident at the end of Sunday’s Barclays Premier League match against Wolverhampton Wanderers, which carries an automatic three match ban. The matter will be treated with utmost seriousness and be dealt with internally, according to the club’s code of conduct.
Interviewing people round town about the Tics and there current predicament. Some idiot claims Martinez is a brilliant manager.   I wish they had asked him how many times he had been in the last two and a half years.Obviously not many.
Only 11 more needed then
He looked OK against Everton, quite promising. A mystery.
I’m going to the game on Saturday, mainly to see Spain (but also I’ve not been to “new” Wembley.
Will be wearing a poppy on my shirt though.
You’ve sent this to Ed Jones, the Head of Media?
OK – humour me because you’ve lost me on this one. Why have you sent it to the Head of Media? What do you expect him to do with it??
I saw them play Newcastle last week, and Angoy certainly made an impact. Not by any means the finished article yet though.
Richcrx I think you are speaking for 99.9% of Latics fans. Enough is enough. Blackburn were really unlucky to lose on Saturday. Can’t see us getting anything but 1 point from the next game against them. The whole set up at the club from top to bottom is, to say the least, very naive at this level. :(
You’re speaking for a majority (nowhere near 99.9% though) of people who make posts on this board. That’s not the same as 99.9% of fans.
A situation that often confuses posters.
It is a widely-held belief that we have around 12000 regular fans. I’m quite sure there are at least 120 (0.01%) knocking about who don’t subscribe to your view, so 99.9% is indeed inaccurate. It’s probably closer to 99.4% ;)
Sorry, Griff. 120 out of 12,000 is 1% ;)

He’s probably standing still looking around in a baffled sort of manner as we speak.
