Can we taunt you with “we support our local team”.

My brother-in-law is a United season ticket holder (and NEVER let us complain about ticket prices!) who lives in Sale and constantly has to defend himself against the usual taunts about United fans. He does actually support his local team

What worries me is that it has been the English mainly who have outed these crooked morons and shown Fifa to be totally corrupt. What effect will this have on our chances to hold a world cup in future years?. Fifa should now be disbanded and replaced with a new organisation run by footballing people.

One could argue whether we actually would want the World Cup here. Look at the Olympics – huge cost to the taxpayer with little return except to corporat sponsors.

But also – it isn’t actually England who’s led to these new investigations but the USA’s representative who has got fed up of Warner and Co. Good on him.

The rats are now turning on each other as Hamman, Blatter and Warner start trading “evidence”.

Where are superinjunctions when you need em? :D

To be honest I’d trust the quote more if it was in the Valencia Express or something rather than Wigan’s local paper.

                What’s he supposed to say?

now is this sky sports twisting things
because i think any team who offers right money he will be sold

fact is we have heard this before players will only leave for a top club

I don’t really think Spurs view Fulham as particular rivals. Just because they’re from London they probably think no more of them as rivals as Liverpool think of us as rivals.

                          Spurs’ rivals are Arsenal.

                            From BBC website:

                            WIGAN WILL STAY UP IF…

They win and Blackburn draw with Wolves
They win and better Blackpool and Birmingham’s results by a margin of two or more goals
They draw and Blackpool and Birmingham both lose
They draw, either Blackpool or Birmingham lose, and Wolves lose by four or more goals
They lose, while Blackpool and Birmingham both lose by goal margins two greater than Wigan

Does scissors not over-ride head-to-head results.

I suspect the outcome will be chosen by a Premier League panel chaired by Trevor Brooking.

I’m not supporting the club particularly in how they handled this but we DIDN’T send any BACK – we never asked for them in the first place :?
