Spot on, Retired.
90% of people (probably closer to 98% on this forum) have their opinions formed by the media, or by their mates who have been influenced by the media, or by people they have never met on an internet forum who happened to post their opinion first and saved them the trouble of forming their own.

Optimistic but achievable. Could swap the three draws for one win and three losses too. Think a win against West Ham is the key (he says stating the bleedin obvious) providing we hold our heads with the other games.

Seemingly a pub in Manchester was closed by police on Saturday because they were singing Rule Brittania and it was causing offence. (according to a friend on facebook) Hope that that’s not true.To be honest most of these “PC-gone-mad” tales are misrepresentations of what happened. Quite likely it was closing time and the plod were trying to get people out.
There are a whole raft of reasons why the police would “close” a pub.

Do you remember the season we stopped up by goal difference? I always look back to the game at Old Trafford when we got a penalty in the last seconds already defeated. We laughed at the time saying “what good was that?”, but it was vital in the end.
Maybe Di Santo’s goal will keep us up. Just a thought like.
